"Oh. Oh!" The realization hits. Of course Akane wouldn't have run around in just the swimsuit. That was crazy, even for her. Why did her mind even go in that direction? "Honking? The entire street would be arrested for noise complaints."

And that she's not trying to kill you, like she would have done when we were in high school," she says, sounding happier than her words suggest she is. Pretty damn happy, really. "And dates sound nice. Will Aiko-chan and I be meeting any of them? And why would the vice-principal be talking to you?"

"Bayushi-sama just wanted to look over my curriculum, but appaaaaarently I'm not very organized. So he wrote a lot of suggestions and made me type it out rather than write it out, with the corrections. At least he wasn't grading me on it."
Akane chose one question and went with it.

"Huh. He didn't have a problem with mine for Enigmas, and that made no sense even to me," she says, rather surprised by the complaints. "Then again, maybe he just didn't read mine. But at least you're not in any serious trouble."

Akane nods and fishes a napkin and pencil out of her bag, sits on the railing and writes out a note. You figured it out, congratulations! I really did try my best. Sumimasen.And she really does, her tongue sticking out a little as she concentrates on writing with her best script. To call the result an enigma, however, is a vast and terrible understatement. Akane seems proud of it though, as she hands it to Hisui. |
