She blushes, just a little bit. But it's not awkward. It's easy to avoid that with Akane. "I think it's nice sometimes. To know that this smile or that expression is for you only, because you're special. And we all like to feel special sometimes."

"I guess, if that's what you really want. I'm just different I suppose; If I see something beautiful or know someone with a beautiful heart, I want to share it with the world. To lift it up and show as many people as possible and say, 'This beautiful thing is something I got to experience. I want every one of you to be as happy as I am right now, so I want you to experience it as well'."
She gives a little shrug.

"Oh, I get that impulse too. Make sure the world knows you're happy and making someone else happy. And maybe inspire others to be happy too." She grabs her phone, showing off a picture from her date some days ago. Of her and Fuyuko in stunning dresses and even more stunning smiles. Hisui has her arm wrapped around the little Crane. "In case you want to see, instead of just hear."

She takes the phone back and snaps a photo.

Hisui shows it. Just a picture of Akane, slightly off-center, and not doing anything. But somehow, hints of her usual energy and cheerful demeanor comes through. Hisui is either good at taking these snapshots or the camera loves the former Matsu.
"I am so sending this to my children. So they can frame a picture of their Aunt Akane at last."

Akane blushes and takes out her flip phone, "Well... I suppose I should at least give it a try then." She held it out, squinted a bit, then clicked. She looked at her phone screen and sighed before showing it to Hisui.  "See? It doesn't really do you any justice..." |

"It's not that bad. At least all the parts are in the right place. And I look completely clueless, which is pretty accurate I'd say," she says, though she does chuckle a little. "But I'm sure someday you'll look at this and remember what happened. And probably laugh for one reason or another."

Akane brightened back up, "Oh, that's true! Anyways, RHS certainly pays better than OU Primary did... though food's more expensive around here. So maybe saving up is a pipe dream. Besides, I broke my last two new ones; This one is just kinda unbreakable or something."
She closed the phone's clam shell.
