Eito offers a bright smile. "Asahina-san! It is quite fine, I hope we can cure that with company and conversation. Please have something to drink." he offers cheerily. He then looks to Saito. "Ah I see Yoko-san has embraced her new clan. I am glad to see you willing to help right an ancient wrong. Not to mention it will make many people smile." he says with a dazed sort of love lorn look he quickly snaps out of. "Anyways permissions or not, I will find you a good company to deal with and draw up the contracts so as soon as we get permission things are ready to go."

"Oh, so she's told you about it, then? Odd that she didn't mention that." "It was only just yesterday in this very lounge," Saito answers. "We spoke of many things, so perhaps it slipped her changeable mind... or unless you two haven't spoken in the last day." He wasn't implying he was a better friend to Yokohime, was he? "Well it is lovely to see you all today. How are my colleagues getting along lately? I am saddened that I have not been able to be more socialable as of late." "I wouldn't worry yourself over it, Asahina-san; no one else was saddened," Saito tells him with a reassuring smile. "Ah I see Yoko-san has embraced her new clan. "I'll right the ancient ones if you do the more recent," Saito offers Eito gamely, inclining his head to the Spider.

Kangei walks in having just finished preparations for his only class of the day. He bowed to the sensei gathered in the lounge "Well it is lovely to see you all today. How are my colleagues getting along lately? I am saddened that I have not been able to be more socialable as of late." "Asahina-san, welcome. I have been well," she answers. "Would you care to join us?" "Anyways permissions or not, I will find you a good company to deal with and draw up the contracts so as soon as we get permission things are ready to go." "Wouldn't it all be wasted if we aren't allowed, though? Without permission, the best we can do is...I don't know, turn draining the lake into a massive school project for every shugenja in school?" "It was only just yesterday in this very lounge," Saito answers. "We spoke of many things, so perhaps it slipped her changeable mind... or unless you two haven't spoken in the last day." He wasn't implying he was a better friend to Yokohime, was he? "Unfortunately, between my classes, personal studies, and matters involving the Fortune of Heroes, I have been rather overwhelmed as of late." She offers Saito a smile, thankful and entirely oblivious to his real thoughts on Yokohime. "So it helps ease my concerns to learn that she is making inroads towards acceptance in her new Clan."

"Her dear adoptive father's open arms weren't enough, you don't think?" Saito replies to Hisui. "I'm glad I could pick up the slack, then. Oh, and yes, she told me about the Goemon situation as well. Curious matter, but I'm no priest, so I doubt I could be of any help on that front."

She chooses not to entertain the comment regarding Bayushi Makubesu. She respected the man enough not to. She dwells on the Goemon situation, instead. "Curious indeed, considering we're dealing with a dismembered Fortune. And sadly, while I'm not a theologian by any stretch of the imagination, I was the sensei present when the incident occurred, so I feel some measure of responsibility."

He regards Saito with a polite smile "Well Shosuro-san that gladens me to hear as I would hate to have caused anyone distress."
Looking at Eito a broader smile breaks out across his face "Eito-san! I would love to drink with you, it has been too long since I have gotten the pleasure of seeing you."
He sat with the group as Hisui addressed him "Why thank you Utaku-san you are as generous as you are beautiful." he says it plainly and politely sliding gracefully into his seat.

Eito gestures to the bottle. "Then enjoy my freind, please. I do like to bring joy to others even if it isn't really my job to do so." he says before he cocks his head at Saito. "More recent wrongs? Have I wronged you recently. Genuinely asking, I have no memory of that night we were drinking together at all. I only know you were there at some point. Unless I dreamed of you, wouldn't that be scandalous."
Then he turns to Hisui. "Well it won't be a secret long but I won't pay yet, just want to make sure there is a company ready to go, and there will be soon. I don't think I have ever made Yoko-san happy, that will be a new experience as well."

I don't think I have ever made Yoko-san happy, that will be a new experience as well." "Really? Weren't you both in the Math Club?" she asks, trying to recall more details. Sadly, she couldn't quite place any. "I think I recall you being there." He sat with the group as Hisui addressed him "Why thank you Utaku-san you are as generous as you are beautiful." he says it plainly and politely sliding gracefully into his seat. Hisui smiles, though it's more out of politeness than accepting what she saw as flattery. "If I might ask, why have you been so reluctant to socialize with your peers these past few days?"

"I hold you no more personally responsible for recent wrongs than I hope you hold me for ancient ones," Saito clarifies. "I thought you were making a broad statement about my Clan." He raises his eyebrows, hopefully his point now made. "Speaking of the Clan," he continues, "please don't mistake Yokohime-san's gratitude for ours in general. Of course, if anyone owes you anything for the effort, it will be that young ronin boy, won't it?" He shakes his head, doubtful Eito will be able to collect much of value in recompense... even knowing he might likely try to collect the ronin himself.

Eito frowns and shakes his head. "No, I think it was Kitsune-san in the club with me. I did not get to talk too much with her in the past." Then Saito comments and he smiles. "Oh! No. Unless you or your clan sunk the ship I was simply being dramatic. I have no reason to believe you did. When you get as old as I am 22 years feels ancient. And it would be Yokohime-san's gratitude only. I doubt the Scorpion has any more interest in raising the ship then the Spider does. This is simply a matter between ancient friends."
