Kangei has a different room set up than usual there is a pedestal and a long low table set before it. The room is lit normally with light bulbs instead of the soft light candle illumination he usually prefers. Kangei sat back and waited to see how many students he would get today.

Hinata was among the first to arrive. Was entering an advanced court class jumping off the deep end? Yes. Dating the crown prince, however, was like jumping into the ocean; she was going to need to learn how to swim soon or drown. She looked at the table upon entering and was fairly sure she grasped the concept. Still, it would be best to ask the teacher for clarification. She bowed to Kangei.
"Good afternoon, Asahina-sensei. Am I correct in assuming this class is going to be more discussion focused?"

In steps Kogeki as well, giving a deep bow. This may be advanced but he had to try to get better if he was to be able to work and advance his craft and he needed to take the class where available. He bows deeply. "Asahina-Sensei." he says in a loud voice before he spots Hinata and gives her a small earnest but uneasy smile and nod.

Hinata spotted Kogeki and smiled slightly. It seemed he was starting with the hardest class as well. ...unless he already had courtier training; that would not be the first surprise to come out of the boy.
"I see you are jumping off the deep end as well, Kogeki-san?" she asked, her tone playful.

Mako entered the classroom with a deep breath, giving a bow to the Sensei, "Asahina-Sensei." She was not with Uetani this time, unlike the etiquette class from days before, walking in alone and trying to avoid the light of the sun through the windows. Her head hurt, and she just gave a little wave to the other two students, as she moved to sit, unlike the other two who apparently chose to stay standing. Her head, soon enough, lay against her arms as she waited for class to begin.

Hinata smiled and waved back to Mako, then walked over to her as she took a seat.
"Do you mind if I sit with you, Mako-chan?"

Mako looked up from where her head rested, "Of course not, Hina-chan~" She did her best to be cutesy, as she gave a little wink... and then rubbed at her forehead, "I likely won't be terribly interesting though. I have got a terrible headache..."

Hinata frowned as she took a seat.
"Oh. I am sorry, do you know what is causing it?"

"Simply started around halfway through first period. I thought it was from not drinking enough water, but then I drank two bottles..." She shrugged from where she was still laying on the table, "It happens.

"Mm...I have some painkillers in my purse, if you like? I keep them around for emergencies."
