Priya had messaged Utaku Joo-Eun the night before, and asked her to meet for a breakfast picnic. She had woken up early to cook, a simple breakfast, enhanced by its presentation. She had made the breakfasts into little mecha in their bones. It was not a great artistic achievement, but with some quick thinking and using the basic instructions in the kits she had been given, Priya had been able to make something she hoped Joo Eun would enjoy. She waited, surprised at how nervous she was, excited and happy

Joo-Eun arrived right on time, wearing a frilly lace dress she had picked up recently, seeming to want to treat this as a proper date with the athletic Badger, as well as indulging her girly side. She liked to dress up nicely for those she cared about, she had found, wanting to appear pretty for them. She takes a seat right next to Priya, leaning against the taller woman, not saying a word in greeting, instead letting her actions say how happy she was to be able to be here.

"That~wow" She remembers a similar reaction she had to the maid outfit Joo Eun had picked out to pull back Mako's attention. It seemed like months ago, but was less than a week!
"I really like that dress" She feels guilty for not dressing up more herself, in her yoga pants and a work out top
"You should take me shopping sometime. I really enjoyed that day out with you and Mako."
She takes the top off the boxes she made, and hopes that Joo Eun likes it

Joo-Eun blushes a bit at the compliment, "I'm glad you like it, Priya. And I'd like that too, though...honestly, with you, I might end up dragging you to the more otaku stores. Because I know Mako tries to be supportive, but I also know her interests in anime and manga are very different from mine."
She looks at the boxes and her reaction is an oooh, followed by her leaning up and kissing the taller woman, showing her approval of the bento designs.

She smiles and blushes, leaning into the kiss "I would go anywhere with you. I am not an anime buff, but I like being around people enjoying their passions. It makes the world seem so much brighter"

"You say that," Joo-Eun says, with a faint smile, "And yet I know you know more about a certain magical girl show than most people."

She blushes a little and playfully pushes her girlfriend. Kami, it feels good to think of her like that.
"It was when I was a kid... And maybe a young teenager"

Joo-Eun giggles, "And the fact that she is based on your favorite sensei has absolutely nothing to do with it, right?"

"Honestly, I think Aiko is my favourite sensei because of the series, instead of the other way around. Or at least, it was because of that. There is so much to reconcile actually knowing the person and the character. Like Aiko, the character, is the reason I know I am into girls, but I don't feel that way about Aiko the sensei at all"

Joo-Eun nods a little, taking a bite from one of the bento, "That makes sense, I suppose. I mean, my dad always warned me that meeting my heroes may change how I see them and feel about them. Which is why I suppose it is a good thing most of my heroes are characters from anime. It...is very hard for a fictional character to not live up to your expectations, but a real person is a whole different matter."
