Family. It seemed a recurring thing to Hisui today. Her morning was spent with family. Her lunch was spent discussing a feud that dragged at least one member of her future family into it. Her third period and evening had been spent near the people who had been affected by the actions of a family member. And her afternoon...well, the memory if still made her blush just a little bit. She'd need to save that sort of thing for a happier occasion in the future. She supposed it was suitable to end the day with family. Her lover Doji Fuyuko and the Crane's cousin, Bayushi Yokohime by the lake. It seemed appropriate. She texted both, asked them to meet her there. She had no idea Yoko had news to impart on at least two things Hisui concerned herself with, of course. |

Yoko was swimming happily around what could be a buoy celebrating yet hoping that it hasn't moved too much. She waved at Hisui and swam to her. "Oi Hisui chan!"

Hisui met her halfway, or as close as she could get without wading into the water, at least.
"Yoko-chan! How are you?" she asks, smiling bright like a star. "I thought I'd come see you. Fuyu-chan will be coming along too, if you don't mind?"

Yokohime smiled. "I am good. I think Shosuro sensei is accepting me as a member of the clan." The girl giggled. "I am glad to see Doji sama again. It would be good to share the news with her." As she continued to giggle.

"So I heard. I spoke to him this morning," she says as she finds a spot to sit. "He said you were looking into what happened to Goemon, same as I am."
She listens to the giggle and smiles. "I'll wait for her to arrive before I ask about your other news, then."

And over comes Fuyu, wearing her white dress from earlier, a vision of death and mourning as she makes her way over to them and bows. "Yokohime-san. Utaku-chan. I hope the night treats you both well?"

"It has been blessed," she answers. "More so now that you're here. Come, sit. Yoko-chan has news for both of us, she says."
She is tempted to ask about certain other things, but refrains for the time being. She'd find out soon enough, anyway.

"Ah... Welcome Doji sama." She looked at Hisui and nodded. "I was at the library... It was scary... but I managed to find some information about the founding fathers of the school and there were two monks."

Fuyuko nods and takes out a blanket from her bag, laying it out so they can both sit and stay clean. "Thank you both. And oh? Two monks? Interesting."

"The Library? But you…" She shakes the thought off. Best not to dwell on it, she thinks. "Why do you think the two monks are important?"
