"He sounds like a special guy for sure, I sometimes wish I had that. patience, the ability to not constantly do something. I am always so restless. Like if I sit down and really let things catch up with me it'll burn me up. I think that's why I've taken up yoga and meditation. Hoping it'll help."

"Not that well, no. I met him...once or twice, I think? He seemed nice, but he got to know Chiaki-chan and Aiko-chan more." She pauses, noting the surprise on the Akodo's face. "It is rather unusual to have met that many Thunders, isn't it?"

"Not just the students. I had a few classes under Ichiro Mitsu-sensei, too. He did not take my approach to treating dodgeball like a combat exercise well." She chuckles at the memory. "But I suppose you're right. The school, for all its unusual quirks and the considerable insanity of its rumor mill, does produce some excellent graduates. And I've seen more than a few of us return to its halls to teach."

"I suppose the school can be a gathering point for the unusual, both sensei and students. From weather witches to future Thunders, immortal painters teaching sadane to a pirate captain with a kobune. But it does have a rather soothing effect over time."

"I could see that, I am surprised by much less than I was before. Being around the unusual can give you a sense that you begin to expect the unexpected which makes it easier when weird stuff happens at least for me."

"But if you expect the unexpected, doesn't that, by definition, no longer make it unexpected?" she asks, allowing the Enigmas teacher to come to fore. She smiles, perhaps to hint it's a rhetorical question but that the Akodo is free to answer anyway. "And yes, weird stuff is kind of a staple in this school. Though not everyone runs into it and not always with intensity."
