Ichiro frowned thinking "I think Uetani-chan mentioned a lunch time meeting with Doji-sensei and a fee others, were you involved with that? Was it something so bad as to cause you to be jumpy?" Dots were beginning to connect for the boy Hisui didn't seem the type to frighten easily and her unrest here and her mention of worry for Fuyuko might be related to the meeting if she was there. What are these people into.

It is clear that from his face he is not happy with the answer hes been given but he thinks better of pressing Hisui on the issue but much like a dog with a bone he wanted her to know this wasn't over "If she is in danger I won't sit idly by while she faces threats, I won't press the issue here with you but if you think I'll be sidelined while people I care about throw themselves into danger then you have another thing coming." his tone wasn't aggressive but for the first time Hisui can really see the fire inside the lion, his protective instincts triggered by the set in his jaw Hisui would know he was serious about what he said.

Every word is true, and she speaks with more sincerity and honesty than she's used the entire conversation.

I appreciate your honesty Utaku-sensei and your position I understand it isn't for you to weigh in on. But I ask if the woman you love were in danger and you knew you could help would you be able to sit back and do nothing?"

Ichiro let out a heavy sigh he was not mad just frustrated. This is the kind of thing he was built for. Fighting, protecting the ones he loved. But the sensei had a point. He looked at Hisui apologetically "forgive me sensei my passion can blind my logic. You have a point and I will think on it but I can make no promises." He gives her a cheeky grin "I am lion after all sitting back is not our forte."
