"Good. I have tried my best to protect that girl from things she cannot fight. It's good that she has many swords to do that for her now," she says with a very fond smile. She cannot love Mako the way Mako wanted, but that would never stop Hisui from loving her anyway.
"And I know her well enough to know she is troubled by many things, but I haven't heard of any ill will she has towards you."

"Yes. Though if it isn't mere whispers…wait." An incident in singing class comes to mind. Then some hints from that lunch meeting. "Doji Hoshiko-san. I believe she is a friend of Ichiro-san's and Mako-chan's. And you…well, you can probably guess from there."
