She nods, understanding and maternal. She moves closer, ready to offer a comforting touch if needed.
"Someday, I may sit you and Mako-chan down to tell you the details of my past. They are stories only four living people know," she says, her smile sorrowful at the combined recollection. "But believe me when I say I have an idea how you feel right now."

"Mine is not the only heart touched by loss, and the dear of facing it again, I am sure" She smiles and pushes herself past these thoughts with a visible effort. She has faced more loss than most perhaps, and losing again is hard for her, but she will not let it destroy her.

"No, no you are not." Hisui puts a hand on the Crane's shoulder. A comforting gesture, a reassuring one. "If you need someone to talk to, both your mothers are willing to listen."

"A parent should be proud of their children reaching out from under their shadow, not stifling that potential," she says. "Fuyu-chan would be proud to see you surpass her, I'm sure."

"Even prouder when you do" she smiles "She told me once, that she will leave me her poetry, only as she expects to die along side you"

"She told me if she dies before the five of you are ready, I'm getting her poetry. I promised her I would add to it each day until all our children are ready to be without a parent. Then, and only then, will I follow her." She pauses for a moment, not bothered by things at all. "She's really the wise one between us."
