Bright and early. Well, early at any rate. Kobushi found himself back in the pottery room, working on another project. Ichiro Priya had requested a tandoor, which the Crane eventually learned was a bell-shaped oven made of clay. Larger than what he was typically used to working on, but at least it didn't require any special materials. From what he'd seen, the basic shape wasn't that difficult and it didn't need any flourishes. So all it required was time and his willingness to try working on that much clay at once.
Still, he figured it couldn't take too long. That was the predominant thought in his head as he sat down and checked on the materials in the pottery room.

"Hey dude! I was looking for you" Priya appears behind him, not so much sneaking as she was quick. She seems to have something on her mind as she greets him. Her hair has been dyed pink since last he saw her. She is dressed fairly nicely, for her at least, a shirt and pants, with a fitted jacket.

He nods at her. Returns to preparing the clay. And then looks back at the new hair color. He blinks and takes a moment to let that sink in. It looks like the pink startled him more than the surprise.
"Not a bad color on you," he comments.

"Oh!" She smiles, and runs her fingers through it "Thanks. When I was a kid, I used to dye it crazy colours all the time, but I thought it wouldn't be allowed at school for some reason"
She smiles, a little disarmed by the compliment. She brushes it to one side, so that he can see the undercut, and the shapes she has shaves deeper into it. Four stars surrounding a heart
"I have been practicing Meditation, and I found that pleasant plans made it easier to centre myself, so I saw to this before bed."
She lets her hair back down and smiles
"Any how, I wanted to find out if you needed anything special for this thing I asked you to make"

He looks at the design, looking impressed. "Can't have been easy to do that on your own," he comments. "Nice design, though. Does it mean anything?"
When she mentions the project, he shakes his head. "Not in particular. A little research told me the specific dimensions, and I don't need anything special for it. It's just a little bigger than I'm used to making, so it might take a little longer."

"That is cool! I mean, I dunno where I can keep it yet. Maybe Mako's place. You ask your girl out yet?"
She smiles as she goes back to the hair
"Well, who the pink is for is obvious I guess, the heart is me, and a star for each of my girlfriends"

"I have. We're meeting for ramen later," he answers. A simple meal, but Kobushi seemed a simple young man.
"And Mako-san seems nice. Didn't know you two were together, though," he notes, when the subject of what the symbol means comes up. "But I'm sure she and the other girls are lucky to have you."

"You didn't?" she seems surprised "I thought everyone in the school knew! I suppose they will now at any rate"
She pats his shoulder
"Good work, ramen is nice and easy, no pressure first date. I like it!"

"I had no idea! Well, now I know at least. But the number of girls in this school with pink hair just went up by one."
He smiles at Priya's approval of his choice. That it seemed to fit what Ryuha wanted worked well, too. "Simple seemed best. I don't think I need to impress her."
"Mind if I start working while we talk?"
