Kaizen got word from his father that he was going to be in town for some business and wanted to stop by. He had dressed up as requested, and brought his gear.
"You're late Son." Mitsu asked from a dark corner of the warehouse.
"I'm not late, you're just too early" Kaizen replied with a grin. "I got here 15 minutes before the meet up time you had requested."
Mitsu stepped into the light, wearing his usual black suit. "Then you should have known that I would be here earlier then you."
Kaizen let out a sigh. "so what is this meetup about? you said to bring my blade. Whats going on."
"I wanted to see what you have learned boy." he said with a grin. he held out his hand and yanked on a cord that pulled his bokken.
"Is that all you wanted?" Kaizen asked. "we could have done this on campus.
"too many people there. we would not have this chance." Mitsu replied.
"And this place is better?" Kaizen retorted
"do you see any cameras? any people?" Mitsu twisted his torso with his hands out to show that there was no one else there.
"good point." he let out a soft sigh. as he set the oversized saya on the side, blade faceing out. a small kick stand fell out from the bottom holding the blade up in the right angle for an iai strike.
"Oh? this is new." Mitsu's grin grew wide. "well then my boy, show me your stance."
"Very well father, Ikimas..."

Akane knew nothing about the beach trip, so she'd not gone that way. Instead she'd decided to get some swimming supplies, both for her club and for swimming in the lake. If that was happening.
It was just chance she'd seen Mitsu walking into an alley way, Akane recognizing his distinctive hair even with the umbrella the teen held over it. Pulling her scooter over and following after a moment, she saw him duck into a warehouse. Hoping nothing was wrong, she parked the bike and went in, her rain coat's hood still up as she opened the door and walked in.

A peice of old news paper blew by and got stuck on Mitsu. Kaizen saw his father's eyes shift for a moment. His old self would have rushed in and get his but kicked. Kaizen remembered his sensei's lesson on patience. He waited for what felt like an eternity, before Mitsu spoke. "Getting nervous now are we? Come on, you know that there was a an opening earlier." Mitsu folded his arms leting the oversized bokken rest under his arms.
"No, not nervous...." this was the moment he had waited for. He knew that his father was a little impatient when it came to fighting. There was a click and then Kaizen drew his blade in an iaido like fasion. But he didnt pause to reset for the strike. He kept the momemntum going.
Woosh.... he missed. Kaizen looked up and saw that he had misjudged his distance. And now Mitsu was in perfect striking range to unleash hos fury. Kaizen stood upright and prepared for the worst.
"You missed." Mitsu said with a devilish grin. "That will cost you." you have gotten faster my son, I'm proud of you. Still a long way to go, but you will get there. And you didnt miss, i just moved out of the way.

Mitsu charfed in and closelined him. while Kaizen was still in the air Mitsu drove his elbow into the boy's gut forcing him to the ground. All the air got knocked out of him.sorry son, you are strong, and continue to make me proud. He looked and watched his son cough and catching his breath. Mitsu saw the beam of light from the door open and looked toward it. "Who goes there?" He picked up his son's blade and stiid over him like a bear protecting his cub.

Seeing Mitsu-sama, Akane made a sound somewhere between a squee and a rawr, running out of the doorway and physically tackling into the man, "Ichiroooo-saaamaaaa~~!"

He postured up like a confused bear. O great another fan... i guess he was followed after all. placed Kaizen's onoken back into the saya and watched as the mechanical levers activated and locked the blade in place. Just as He had done so, he was glomped. When she tried to tackle him, it was like someone tackling a tree. "To whom do i owe the pleasure?" he asked as he put her down on her feet.
Kaizen groans in pain.....
"Don't mind him, he will be fine." Mitsu added.

Akane cuddled against the man, despite the weapon and such, before sitting up, straddling his stomach in her hotpants, rain coat riding up a little as she looked down at her, "It's been forever sensei! You still look great!"
She wiggled in place in excitement, almost like a dog greeting its owner.

"Sensei?" he finally took off his sunglasses and took a good look at who was on top of him. "Is that you? Matsu..." he had a hard time remembering her name, it had been so long and there have been so many faces, it was hard. "Ayame?" there have also been all those times when he would cut them off mid sentence and never really learn anyone's names.
Kaizen groaned more...
"Shut up boy... im trying to remember...." Mitsu smacked Kaizen on the chest. forcing him to cough a little.

"Akane, actually. And I'm not a Matsu anymore, I'm a Ryudo. But that's another story."
She looked between Mitsu and Kaizen, "...I hope I didn't interrupt anything too important."

He gave her the People's eyebrow. "Ryudo?" He rubbed his unshaven chin. "ah yes Akane-san. you were my student in Judo right?" He glanced over to Kaizen. "I just wanted to see what my boy had learned thus far. He has a lot of potential. I hope he is putting it to good use." he said as he sat up. which caused her to slide down onto his lap. "So what brings you back to the city?"
Kaizen curls up and coughs a little, bofor getting nudged in the butt by a size 13 boot.
