Rather than wade into the water Kumataro sprinted into it like a scene out of Baywatch, splashing up a good amount in the process. He made his way over to the others and squatted down so that he was fully in the water.
"Man, you ever tried squatting down in the water? It's pretty funny, makes you feel like a monk."

Hisui laughs a little at the Hida, amused but not mocking. "Is that so? How does that work?"
She took a second glance at the young Dragon and noticed the attire. She decided to call out. "Mirumoto-san, I have an umbrella in my bag over there if you think you need it!"

And in comes No Fun Fuyu herself. She wears a large floppy hat and a swimsuit that covers most of her body added with some arm length white gloves, a large parasol umbrella in black and a folding chair and a book. She is also wearing her black opaque goggles as she walks over to set up near the water. Her makeup is clearly still on as well as the little goth settles in to the beach, not yet noticing the others there. |

Before her questions or calls can be answered, Hisui spots the beautiful onyx gem that just took a spot on the beach. Her smile turns from bright to stupidly in love as she makes her way out of the water, towards the protective shadow of the parasol. Standing just outside its reach, careful not to get water on the book or the woman holding it, she leans slightly and smiles.
"Hello, beautiful. Would the lady mind some company?"

Otomo Katsumi lightly touches her fingers to her lips observing Utaku Hisui and Doji Fuyuko. Hmmmm now there is an interesting challenge. Doji Fuyuko a good enough duelist that I have problems. How best to break one such as her... How best to break Utaku Hisui while I am at it. Otomo Katsumi turns her attention to her darling little Hinata-Chan. A cruel smile flashes ever so briefly across her lips. She approaches Kuni Hinata and her friends. "Ahhh Hinata-Chan how lovely it is to see you once more. I would dare say the stars favor us both this fine day."

Hinata had been enjoying just wading in the water when her day had to be ruined by the approach of a harpy. Oddly, though, she found herself caring far less than she normally would. She had much bigger issues to deal with than an Otomo with an astounding lack of common sense. Approaching Hinata in public when the Prince had explicitly told her to back off? A dangerous game, that. Especially since Yoshinobu was still on the beach, just not in the immediate vicinity.
...still, the comment about the stars did sting. How had Katsumi found out about that? Was that not supposed to be secret information? Hinata managed a smile, trying to hide the pain it caused.
"Ah, Otomo-sensei. What a surprise."

Otomo Katsumi offers the woman a bow. "A pleasure Kuni Hinata-Chan. Enjoying the weather." She looks up at the sky and smiles. "The sun is truly delightful this day. To bask in it's warmth this day is truly a blessing from above." She looks back down at Kuni Hinata. "So did you plan this little beach trip? I can't picture you being the one for fun in the sun I must admit."

Hinata crossed her arms.
"The day is rather lovely, though. I figured I would enjoy it."
She was not going to rise to the bait. Nope, she knew how this bitch worked.

Ichiro approaches the pair "actually i was that one who planned this little trip and Hinata-san was kind enough to tag along, she's been great fun. hinata-san is full of surprises and has been wonderful to spend the day with."

Kumataro poked his head up from where he was squatting in the water and grinned.
"Oi, Katsumi-chan! Looking great!"
He rose to his full, mountainous height.
