At the mention of studying to be a Vet the Lion student cracks a small, shy smile. Reaching up she strokes beneath Arasou's chin and give Joo-Eun a small nod. "I am y-yes. It's my biggest hope to be-become a good vet, it helps that I seem to h-have a strong bond with animals."

Genji smiled a little at the line of conversation going on between the two students. He knew Joo-Eun didn't really like horses, but at least she seemed to have compassion for the animals.
"I think, if you study diligently and work hard at it, you'll be a fine veterinarian, Matsu-san. You may even want to look into taking some of Umeko-sensei's courses on herbs. They're not conventional medicine, but it would help you identify plants that are safe for Arasou-san and others you treat to eat or even use in a salve and the side effects of more dangerous plants and how to treat those as well."
