Normally, Daidoji Kobushi could be seen on the offensive in the dojo. Whether it was an opponent or one of the training robots, he tended towards being the aggressor. It suited his training, his temperament. If he was being honest, he just wasn't very good at defending himself. That's what the helmet was for, to be honest. However, today was different. Today, the Crane with a head of dented iron was firmly on the defensive, dodging attacks from one of the training robots.
One might notice some oddities. The robot kept the attacks high, almost exclusively at the upper body. It was also moving at a slower pace than is normal, which explains why the Crane is able to avoid the attacks consistently. Then there's his movements. The machine attacks and he dodges, moving from his position just so each time. After enough observation, one might notice that the robot and the Crane are moving to create an almost circular pattern as they move. Almost to a beat. If one was being generous, it might even be described as...dancing.
