Using the code she'd been given (and remembered to have Mako write down so she wouldn't forget), Ryudo Akane entered Otomo Mako 's apartment, flowers in one hand. Most of the lights were off, but a hallway on her left had lights coming from it. Slipping off her shoes, Akane called out, "Hello, Ma-chan~ It's me, Akane~" She didn't want to be too loud since it was only a couple hours before midnight. |

Mako was already showered and laying in bed - a nice smutty yuri manga in hand, she decided to spend the night in, not expecting a surprise visit. And yet, the second Akane walked in, her computer system beeped about a visitor - and then the Ryudo announced herself. And so Mako, in her pajamas, practically threw the blankets off herself, and moved quickly to the door out of her room.
She may have been a little perturbed earlier in the day, with the actions of this sensei. But she also did the sanest thing she could first thing - glomping the taller, stronger woman, "Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaannniiii~!" She said it happily, as she did so. Lecturing could wait until greetings were done!

Akane quickly got the flowers out of the way and caught the soft Otomo woman with the barest of grunts, "Good to see you again."
She kissed Mako's lips before setting her down, "Sorry you had to lecture me earlier. I brought you some purple hyacinths~ Eito-kun once told me they mean apologizing in flower speak~"

Mako smiled at the flowers, and the kiss, kissing back and melting just a little. And then taking the flowers, she led Akane into the kitchen, pulling a small vase over and putting some water in it, so she could set up the flowers.
But at the same time, she started talking, more sternly, "Kani, you know why I had to do that." She sighed, "I just... really worry about you. And us. And I'm not mad at you, I promise. Just..." She sighed, as she put the flowers into the vase, now full of water, and moving out of the kitchen past Akane to set it on a small table, next to a weird statue, "I just feel like you don't worry about things, and how they'll affect you. Or how they'd affect me, if you got into trouble for them."

"I know you're not mad; Doesn't mean I don't need to apologize~ And yeah, I know I'm not much of a worrier... but I can't help it! I act with my heart and stomach and gut and... well everything besides my brain really."
She follows the pajama clad girl into the kitchen.

"You should use your brain sometimes, Kane." She was being serious still, but she was smiling at the woman, "But I guess I like your heart and gut decisions, since they led to us. And I love you, and us." She said it quite honestly, moving to lace her fingers with her girlfriend, "I hope you'll be with me for a long time, you know that? And if I need to help you by doing a little more thinking for us both? I'm happy to do that."

Akane laces her fingers back, looking down and giving a nod, "Hai; I'll try to use my brain more. If it means not losing you or the love you share with me. Or my chance to share my own back."

"How did you get talked into teaching Sex Ed anyways? Do you know how many students were in there, staring at this hot teacher who everyone in the room wanted? Telling them all about sex?" Mako leaned way up, but couldn't kiss the woman until she was met in the middle. The curse of being short. But she was smirking and laughing and happy.

"Because no one else wanted to, apparently. They actually asked before I arrived from the returning faculty like Hisui and Aiko-chan. Aiko had mentioned possibly trying, but her schedule has been hectic. So when Hisui told me about that, I volunteered. I suppose I coulda put it off for a bit, but Hisui-chan said students were asking her questions about sex, so I figured I should probably do it sooner rather than later. Which is why I got everything together in such a hurry, you know?"

"Well. I can't say I wasn't surprised. I was expecting a work out! I was gonna come surprise you at the pool, ready for another lesson. Impress you with my dedication to doing things I don't really imagine caring about that much~" She siiiiighed wistfully, but was smiling, "Instead I got to watch you being silly and sweet. I think Priya was imagining being a demonstration partner with you, for those details on being gentle~" Mako teased, winking at the woman.
"But I think it was good you did it. You made it a lot less dry and awkward than it could have been. I couldn't imagine Hisui teaching it."
