The kenku sniffed at Asako Ryoko with his beak, a bit rudely perhaps for some, but he could smell the tricky realm on her. Then he turned back towards the Prince. "Ah, yes! I did Prince Iweko. Isawa Kokoro-san has reason to believe you might be the missing Fortune I am looking for. Goemon, the Fortune of Heroes! Is that the case?" he leaned in towards Yoshinobu now, studying him closely.

Poor Ryoko was overwhelmed in the moment, trying to bow as deeply as possible to the prince then the questions on what flavor of cotton candy she wanted and then the crow showed up and then it turned into a kenku and then...
and then she gets sniffed by the bird-man and takes a step back, her ears at attention and tail stiff as a board! And then the comments about missing fortunes comes and the poor little Phoenix looks absolutely lost in all that's gone on around her.
"Missing fortunes? What flavored cotton candy? Uh... normal, I guess?"
Her eyes stay as wide as saucers from the confusion and from the conflicting thoughts about another spirit from Sakkaku, one that happens to be a bird as well, and then...
THUD!
Ryoko is immediately prostrating herself before the crown prince, the small girl making herself even smaller in the presence of, well, everyone at this point. The way her tail moves about and curls submissively behind her makes it quite apparent it isn't some cosplay prop and instead a natural extension of her body.
"Sumimasen! Please forgive this one for not giving you your proper obeisance, Iweko-ue!"

"Come on, you don't have to get your clothes dirty prostrating," Yoshinobu says, sighing at the cat-like Phoenix girl. Everything was happening so fast, that he barely had time to process everything the kenku had said. "It's fine, really. Nothing to forgive."
He looks back to the kenku, a look of confusion on his face. "The Fortune of Heroes is missing? This is the first I've heard of this... why on earth would you think that I am Goemon-kami?"

Ichiro gave Ryoko a sympathetic look and moved to offer her a hand up while explaining to the prince.
"Apparently Josuke-sama here has been tasked with finding the missing Kami. He enlisted the help of myself and Seijuro-san since Geomon-kami was a lion. After determining that none of us were likely the fortune we turned our eyes to important people. Naturally the highest status student and future emperor came to mind and Josuke-sama asked to meet you."

Hinata was too shocked by the sudden kenku to speak. ...she was then only more shocked that the kenku seemed to think Yoshinobu was Goemon. She looked between the two of them, at a loss for words as the others talked until finally she managed to find her voice.
"...um."
...okay, maybe she had not found it completely.

Ryoko stands with Ichiro's help, bowing in thanks to the Akodo before correcting, "Akodo-san, Matsu Goemon wasn't a Kami, he was a Fortune. That's like saying a stream is a river. They're similar, but different enough."
There was no chastising in her tone, rather she seemed to be acting in the way she thought was the most honest and polite without embarrassing her teammate on the wrestling team. She then listens to all of this with a bit of curiosity, head tilted with some mild curiosity.
As she finishes standing and straightening from her bow, however, the little Phoenix steps on the hem of her miko and begins to fall forward, toward the group! Her arms flail wildly, trying to find anything to cushion her fall!

Hinata tried to catch Ryoko, but...she was not very strong either, and got pulled down as well. ...at least she cushioned her fall by landing under her.

Man you'd think the students had been replaced by bowling pins the way they were falling down. He heads to the girls and offers them both help to stand.
"Are you ladies alright?"

Hinata accepted the hand up, grimacing more out of embarrassment than pain.
"Yes, I am fine. Thank you."
She looked at Ryoko, awaiting her answer.
