"Other way around. I was born Matsu, and I grew up there. I... didn't really fit in in the small town I was from though, and when I was nine I went to Ichiro lands. It might have been because I asked, but there was more to it than that."

She chuckles, "I didn't fit in. I am honorable enough, I think, but I'm also very flighty and emotional and free, you know? Not to mention always trying to make people get along. I'm not big on that bottling things up or thinking you're better than other stuff. I mean, I'm sure there's tradition and all, but I think we've grown beyond some of that stuff as a society, neh?"
