Priya heads to her room assignment, with a slightly excited smile. The tall girl is wearing all black, her hair shaved on one side, and her favorite tattered hoodie her most prominent piece of clothing. Emblazoned on the back, a badger smashing a snake with a tetsubo "IT'S A SNAKE!" written underneath. She does not have much, and it is easy enough for Priya to take it all in one trip. She laments that there isn't room for her drum kit, but places a pair of worn sticks on the dresser, before claiming the bottom bunk. She would probably not fit in the top anyhow!

"Thanks for the help Minami-chan...and yeah, sorry again about this" Hoshiko said to the girl that was helping her carry some of her things - the drummer from her band. The two of them had already had to stop once to sign autographs, but that wasn't the apology reason.
"Hey, no worries ok? I mean, it's not your fault they're making you school here."
"Well yeah, but I could have done it on tour if they hadn't kicked up a fuss about my age" Hoshiko pouted. Minami laughed.
"We still have weeken practice!"
"Don't you dare replace me, I'm too good" she grinned "I'll make a rival band and blow you guys away. Oh this is my room...damn" she frowned. They could hear noises. "I wanted to be first."
"Bad luck, you'll be bottom bunk girl now" Minami put the stuff down. "Shall we go in?"
Hoshiko nodded, using her keycard to open the door and in she entered. Hoshiko had dressed what she would consider down for the moving day, but still in the more expensive brands. Torn looking jeans (designed that way) and a t-shirt under her black jacket, the jacket having the bands symbol on it; 5 white feathers in a circle with the ends together in the middle of it. Her long hair had been brushed back straight. On her back was a guitar case. The girl with her had the same jacket, but instead of jeans had a denim miniskirt, and had left her white hair untied and wild.
"Hello!" Hoshiko said as she entered. The other girl nodded, then said with a grin "hey the top bunk is free."
"Really?" Sweet! Cheers um...hi! I'm Doji Hoshiko, and this is my bandmate and friend Doji Minami" she bowed. Minami bowed, then put the things she was carrying -an amp and a suitcase - down to the side.
"Cya around duckling" Minami waved.
"Cya goose" Hoshiko laughed "send the guys this way with the rest of my stuff, kay?"
"Will do!" Minami said as she went to make her exit...

Priya turns to face the other woman, and gives her a slightly formal bow.
"Hey... Aren't you..." she struggles to place the name, it is not exactly her kind of music, but she knows that the girl is someone sort of famous.
She tries to gather herself, realizing how stupid she must look, a giant half gaijin with a gormless look on her face
"I'm Ichiro Priya" she says, another bow "I took the bottom bunk. I hope that is okay..."
She hates this. She hates this, why does she have to talk to people! She is suddenly very aware of everything about herself, her size, her facial piercings, the fact her clothes are all second hand and ill fitting. She looks at the guitar on her roommates back and speaks again
"I play the drums, but I didn't think they would fit"

A Badger?
"Good to meet you Ichiro-sempai!" Hoshiko instantly assumed the girl was older than her "a drummer? Minami-chan is a drummer as well, if I'd have known I'd have asked her to say. But! Still! Another musician! We're going to get along so well!" Hoshiko placed her guitar down against the wall as she continued "I play the bass guitar, and yeah I'm from Blackened Feathers. Minami-chan is as well."
Hoshiko then hopped up the stairs of the bunk bed quickly, flopping down with a giggle.
"Damn, when I got here later than you I thought I was resigned to the bottom bunk. So glad you took it already! I'd be worried that the top would just fall through or something. Don't worry though, I'm like, super light" she giggled again, sitting up once more and kicking her feet over the stairs to sit.
"Hey um...could you pass me my backpack? The one just there" she pointed to the bag next to her guitar that she had brought in.

"Uh, yeah" Blackened Feathers, that was it. Not terrible, all things considered, but she had to remember the name of the bassist. She bends over to pick the bag up, handing it to her easily from her height "Uh yeah... I don't think the top bunk will hold me, and I am already scholarship, so ya know... Don't want them kicking me out for crushing someone... Outside the wrestling ring anyhow"
She kicks her feet a little, wondering if she should say something else "So... urm, your music is okay" she adds

Hoshiko accepted the bag with a "cheers roomie", taking out a can of some foreign looking drink and opening it. Downing almost half the can before speaking again.
"Hah, these are built pretty well I hear, but yeah I'm not going to complain. And, really, just ok? We're one of the best bands out, and I'm awesome" she giggled, hopping down from her bunk with an 'ooft' at the landing. She rubbed her ankle. "Oops, that was higher than I thought!" She was lucky not to spill the drink really.
"So, you wrestle? Huh, you certainly look pretty strong. Gonna join the clubs? Is there a wrestling club? I didn't really read up on it, I was kinda a speed-enrollment to please people, so I only had time to sit exams really."

"I dunno. I think so" she nods "I was looking at wrestling club, maybe boxing. Weight lifting, kendo" she wrinkles her nose, remembering that she is expected to take Iaijutsu if she wants to take kenjutsu as well "I wanna try and get a derby team going. I was a star blocker back home"

There was a frown. "A...what team? Never heard of that! tell me about it" Hoshiko looked curious at this 'derby' idea. Sipping her sweet-smelling drink while she did so.

"Roller Derby!" she says, happy enough to have something to talk about that she knows something about "So you have two teams of five, and one person on each team is the jammer. You are all on a roller rink, and the jammer scores points by lapping the other team. So the rest of the team has to keep the jammer from passing them, whilst helping their own jammer get through. You can't use your fists or anything like that, but it gets pretty hardcore"

Painful.
"...interesting" Hoshiko went with in the end, nodding and sipping her drink "I've never tried roller blading before, but it's not hard from what I hear. I wouldn't want to risk injuries though, so sadly I won't look at joining the team. I'll totally support you though! Does the school have like...music clubs? Or dance clubs? That's more my thing." She finished off her can of drink
