Hinata lay in her bed, listening to some music staring at the ceiling, contemplating what was happening. What decision should she make? She knew the answer: to wake Goemon. It was what she was going to do. Still, she could not help but wonder what would happen if they did. Yokohime had said the real world was a reflection of this one, so would much actually change once he woke? She hoped not. But then...if much did not change, would she still have had that little outburst in the gym? Probably not, that was entirely related to the dream, but what if it did? It would not just hurt her; she remembered Sango's warning. She had said that if Yori was found out about, it would not just be the end of Hinata, but of Yoshinobu as well. If they both needed to end to give the Empire back one of it's Fortunes...it was something that needed to happen, but she could not help worrying about it. Laying like this alone gave her time to think, but she was beginning to feel like thinking too much was going to hurt her. Part of her hoped that Ichiro Priya would walk through the door and distract her. |

She comes in from where ever she was and sits on her bed. She is clearly not in the mood for any of this, but she doesn't have much of a choice.

Hinata looked up from where she was laying and smiled slightly; bitterly. Apparently wishes did come true here.
"Tell me about it. I feel like I should be doing something, but...there's nothing we can do, is there?"

"Nothing at all" she gets up and shouts, punching the wall as she does, screaming
"It is such fucking bullshit. All these people I have met, loved. Maybe I haven't. My fucking choices aren't even my own. For fucks sake. All of this was about escaping the life my parents had plans for me, making my own fucking life, but it still isn't enough"

Hinata sat up, frowning. Her friend was clearly even more upset than her. She wanted to help, but...how? How could she comfort her? Reassure her everything would be alright? That would be a lie; she herself did not know if that was true. Instead she stood up and went to give Priya a hug.
"Priya-chan...I know. I'm sorry."

She hugs her friend back, trying to calm down, trying to fight back the tears
"It'll be okay" she takes a breath, and feels so happy in the other girls arms for a moment or more
"Are you okay?" She pulls away a bit, her hand cupping Hinata's face, almost romantically

Hinata pursed her lips in a sad little smile. She did not mind the touch. It was just a dream, and it need not go any further regardless.
"No...no not really. Who can be in a situation like this?"
She sighed, looking down.
"...I just...I learned this morning that if we don't wake Goemon, Yoshinobu's going to go on a journey to find him. If he can't, he's going to...commit seppuku."
It was okay. She was alone here aside from Priya. She could cry.
So she did.
"So no matter what happens...I could lose him. I could lose my friends. If we don't wake Goemon, I could lose my family. All because I was stupid and couldn't keep my mouth shut about what was in my head last night. I hope I can wish what happened away, but if I can't, if that's too big a wish..."

"I mean, fuck!" she looks almost mad "If the Prince wants to wake him, surely that is all we fucking need" she shakes her head and squeezes the other woman tighter, Hnata's head pressed against the taller woman's shoulder
"I don't believe that he will stay asleep. I don't believe it. If the Prince of the Empire wants him awake, then he will be, and all will be good"

She made a sound that was half-way between a chuckle and a sob.
"At least he's not abusing his power, but...fortunes, I hope people make the right decision..."
