Letting go of the wall, she swam past Hisui before surfacing, "Before or after your ceremony at least?"

"Before, I think. If it doesn't work, the ceremony can help lift Yoko-chan's mood. If it does work, then that's just one more reason for everyone to celebrate."
Hisui continued to float in the water, but as Akane surfaced, she decided a bit more activity was in order. She shifts and swims in the same direction. She's slower and less graceful, but not everyone was a gold medalist in swimming.

Akane's not exactly swimming hard anyways; She's trying to hear and be near Hisui, especially with things she needed to remember like this. The last thing she needed was an ill timed splash making her hear one thing when the Utaku woman had said another.
"That's about it for plans though? We have one more day, and here I hadn't even thought of anything on my own."
