The day had passed in a haze of purple fog and the flickering of temple candles in which Tsuki had taken comfort. The campus was abuzz with talk of the revelations of the previous night, amid a such chatter one thing had become incredibly clear: no one knew where the Ikoma-sensei was. That in itself was puzzling. If waking the Fortune truly was a choice, why then could he not be found? It worried the Crane and such a worried motivated her to seek the aid of her close friend.
Waiting just outside out the dormitories stood Tsuki, her pale form cradled in the yellow light of the lamp post. Long locks of raven colored hair were left loose, falling past her shoulders in silken strands that seemed to dance with the purple mist. Her dress too was different. The girl was usually known for her fashionable, yet traditional kimonos and while the one that graced her form was of such design it was clear in the way her sleeves were rolled backwards and bound that it had been altered to allow for better ease of moment.
The blossoming priestess had learned many things from her parents. One such thing was this campus held it's fair share of secrets. Tonight, she would seek such secrets out in an attempt to unravel the strings of fate so tangled about them all.

Yoshinobu showed up soon after, as they had agreed the previous night. His own digging into the matter had revealed little, as much as he searched. He just couldn't locate Renmaru nor find anyone who had seen him. The staff were unable to help, the students, unable to help. So he'd at least spread word around campus that if others wanted to join in and search, they were free to. Having been dressed casually in jeans and a tee shirt while searching all day, that is how the Prince is decorated now while they continue.
He approached Tsuki and offered her a nod and a smile. "Good evening Tsuki-san. I've spent the whole day looking with no luck, so what is a few more hours?"

It won't be long before the Kakita and the Prince are joined by Daidoji Kobushi. He hadn't been searching for Renmaru specifically, but he had been looking throughout campus for people he knew. He worried about the ones he hadn't seen all day, and that concerned him. He is in casual attire and his blades are knotted, but he doesn't need swords to handle himself.
As he spots the other two, he bows as as appropriate to each. However, he keeps quiet in case they would rather dismiss him.

Tsuki tuned and nodded back to Yoshinobu, offering him the selfsame smile. "The same to you Yoshinobu-sama, though I fear I bring to the table the same outcome. I have had little luck in my search. It's like the man simply does not exist anymore, though it's hard to believe such a thing if he in fact is the one this is all focused around."
She semed about to say more on the matter, but Kobushi's arrival brought her words to a halt and she turned to bow to her cousin. "Daidoji-san, what brings you out so late? Are you perhaps by chance also looking for Renmaru Ikoma-sensei?"

He nods.
"Among others. I'm looking for anyone I know that I haven't seen since last night, to make sure they're alright," he answers truthfully. "But I've kept an eye out for Ikoma-sensei as well. Can't say I've seen any sign of him, though."
He blinks. "Have I interrupted anything?"

Having been unable to sleep with his mind racing about uncertain outcomes, the small gathering outside the boys' dorms had not gone unnoticed by a particularly perceptive resident. The fact that it was made up of some of his closest friends helped spur him in the decision to join them, even if he knew from word that the Prince had spread that they were likely upon a mission in direct opposition to his stance on how matters should resolve.
"Hi...," Yoshi says to announce his presence, giving bows to all, but of course a deeper and more respectful one to Yoshinobu, no matter how casually the man was dressed. Kobushi's lingering question that he caught as he was walking up also gives him pause, so he waits to see if either of them are completely welcome.

Hinata arrived not long after Kobushi, and bowed to those assembled.
"Good evening, all of you. Pardon me if I'm interrupting."

Tsuki shook her head at Kobushi. "No, not really. We had planned to go and look some more for Ikoma-sensei, see if it was possible to hear what they might have to say on the subject. See if they even know who they are or what they might wish for in all of this." She explained, even as others started to approach their tiny, but ever growing group.
The priestess was of course quick to bow to everyone as they approached. "If any of you are interested in joining us, we would welcome it. The more eyes and ears we have the better our odds are of potentially finding the Fortune himself."

"Of course. I had much the same idea, truth be told. I heard Yoshinobu was asking around, so I wanted to see if he'd like to join me."
She smiled softly.
"I see you've already beaten me to the punch, though."

"Well, to be fair, it's been our focus for the day, or at least not when with others anyway," Tsuki pointed out. "But we are more than glad to have more aid in the endeavor."
