Asurito's smile is lost even if it is only for a moment. "You know... What is expected. Courtier, etiquette, heraldry, perhaps some horsemanship... It's not like I have an option there. But!" She tries a bit, but manages to smile broadly. "That's the life of a herald. There are no Miya heroes."

Uuen-Xiang nods.
"I suppose I am lucky in that regard. I am taking any media class possible. Preparing for broadcasting. Unless I make it in sports beforehand. One can always hope."

Izumi frowned slightly at her friend's expression. "On the contrary heroism is acting for the whole not just the self" it was a lesson she had heard many times across the Akodo school. It was also a lesson she tried to live by as well, despite its difficulty. Realising it might be a bit early in the morning for philosophy of duty she gave her friend an open smile hoping she had cheered her up. She then turned her head to listen to hear her clan mates' reply. Pleased that it sounded like the trio would see a reasonable amount of each other over the year. "Well it sounds like you are a useful contact to make for when I make it big as a sports star" Izumi said jokingly. She knew she sounded a bit arrogant but she did believe in herself.

Asurito pats the bard's back for a moment. "Uuen-Xiang chan is a natural talent. A part of me wishes to see her as a famous goalkeeper and another part realises that this would mean one great sportscaster less and is already whining for all the future matches that I won't watch because she won't be there to raise my heartbeats."
"May the fortunes help both of you ascend the stairs to stardom, each in her field. It fits the Lion to be the heroes, even in the way you described, Izumi san. Commanders, fighters, bards or coaches, star athletes, sportscasters in analogy... The Miya are different. What I said earlier is one of my family's moto." The girl smiles broadly. "I'm good with riding my bike and doing some bmx tricks in exhibitions that almost no one watches."

Uuen-Xiang laughs, completely unembarrassed by the praise. "We'll see where things go, Miya-sempai," she laughs. "I need to cut down on my errors if I'm to make it, no? How many times did I just drop the ball through my hands just now?"
She grins. "Well, one learns nothing from success, so it's all for the better." She nods at the other two. "Well, if you let us know where your exhibitions are, I'm sure we could spread the word. I'd like to see your performances, certainly."

Izumi nodded at Asurito, it was nice to know there were more talented Akodo around. As her friend hyped the Akodo she couldn't help but vainly dream of the girl commentating on her career. She was very ambitious and the idea was very appealing to her. She smiled at the praise of her clan, she did really want stardom, to be the best. She didn't really care about the fame itself but knowing she was at the top and had proved herself would be fantastic. She realised she had slightly zoned out making a note to try these more niche sports with her friend. "Well the more we train the better we get" she said "we can all train for these goals." Having friends around to drive her motivation sounded really good as well as it just being nice to have good friends. "Exhibitions?" She said thinking about her friend's question still slightly caught in her own thoughts. "I better get in the teams first but hopefully basketball, kendo and judo if it all goes to plan" she said enthusiastically.

"I love cycling, but my real thing is bmx freestyle tricks. From time to time small exhibitions or even some tourneys take place." The Miya explains. "Most people never learn about any of those stuff." She shrugs. "I will tell you both when the next one is happening and you can come watch if you want. Until then, if you want to see how it is, I'll send you a link on facescroll as soon as I get to my room. There are some pretty interesting video out there. Not mine, of course."

Uuen-Xiang nods. "That would be very interesting, Asurito-sempai - Might very well like to see someone do it." She giggles. "Before I decide if I want to try as well, that is." She stands up with a rather unladylike grunt, leaning against one of the posts. "Nice to see that not everyone here is a total bookworm, at least."

Izumi caught the ball giving the Akodo a look as if to say you ready to restart. It wasn't that she wasn't enjoying the conversation but they definitely could play and talk. Besides sport was always more fun than standing around, even if the company was nice. She nodded eagerly at the invite, it was always nice to widen your horizons, as her parents always told her. Though she suspected they weren't talking about adding more sports to her repertoire. A flick of a frown crossed her face as she rather suspected not being a bookworm was one of the things her parents found most disappointing about her and her twin's best feature. She tried to cover the look by dropping the ball, controlling it with her foot ready to play.

Asurito really wants to warn the bard that bmx tricks are not for her, but no discrete way comes to her mind. It is better to leave for another time that they will be alone.
"Shoots again?" She asks excitedly. "Go, Izumi san!"
