Uuen-Xiang claps her gloved hands, taking an unladylike, wide stance, crouched down. "Bring it, Akodo-san!" she calls out. "You won't get it past me!"

Izumi's expression was determined as she placed the ball, she didn't care at all if the girl acted in an unladylike manner. It was something she had been accused of and really didn't bother her. Now she really wanted to score, she began to think where the other girl seemed weakest her eyes darting around the goal as she made her choice. With her competitiveness activated she needed to win, almost forgetting it was just a bit of fun. With her decision made she struck the ball aiming for the corner, watching anxiously for the result.

Uuen-Xiang, seemingly reacting a moment before the shot actually went off, flies to the right side along the grass, pawing the ball upwards just before the line.
Which, of course, would have looked very impressive had the ball not flewn up onto the crossbar and back onto her face, hopping into goal, leaving the Akodo red-faced, probably from the ball.

"Oh?!" Asurito exclaims. "Are you alright, Uuen chan?" She walks closer and kneels next to the Akodo. "How is your head? This was a close miss. Very good reflexes, though!"

Izumi watched the flight of the shot, it hadn't quite gone as near the corner as she wanted. A wave of emotions hit her as first the keeper seemed to have pushed the ball away before it then bounced back into the goal. She accidentally let out a little bit of a giggle as the ball rather comically bounced back before realising how embarrassed she would have been if roles were reversed. Besides she wanted to be friends with the Akodo so laughing at her was hardly a good first step. She tried to disguise the small giggle as a cough as she walked over. "Sorry about that, are you ok?" she said crouching down onto her haunches as she spoke genuine concern on her face though a part of her was most worried that she had offended her new friend.

A few grumbling sounds can be heard coming from Uuen-Xiang as she stays lying down, looking up into the sky, clearly rather consternated.
"I should've had that," she says eventually, with a world-weary tone in her voice.

"It was bad luck. You almost had it. Next time, little one!" The Miya offers her hand to help her up.
She looks at both girls. "Do you want us to continue for a little while? There is a meeting back at the dorms in about half an hour, but I don't think that there will be a lot of people in the showers."

Izumi checked for a minute to see if her friend had hurt anything other than her pride, a look of worry on her face. Izumi worried her competitiveness had upset her new friend as well as embarrassing her. She offered Uuen-Xiang a smile as she nodded in agreement at her friend's encouraging words. She was ready to offer her a hand before being beaten to it by the Miya. "You will just have to beat me in the actual club training" She said encouragingly. Izumi was very happy to continue as she loved sports and usually had to be forcibly dragged away from training. She gave a nod before looking to the Akodo to see if she still wanted to play.

"Yeah," Uuen-Xiang says, sitting up, ruffling up her hair. "Let's continue. There's no one in the showers, no. Already been through the locker rooms a couple times today. Seems quiet today."
She gets onto her feet, jumping to get back into gear. "Now, I'm not letting any of you two get it past me any more, so bring it. No holding back!"
She grins, embarrassment quickly forgotten, kicking the ball out of the goal with a whooping cheer.
/Fade into small talk and practice, I dunno?
