Uuen-Xiang was walking through the restaurant quarters, dressed in a loose yellow shirt and a dark beige skirt stopping just above her knees, dark unruly hair bouncing with her step behind her, sometimes a little higher when she nearly toppled herself over on a cobblestone. She stopped outside a place advertising colonial food. It didn't look that upmarket, to be honest... Maybe the similar, more renowned one she passed a few minutes ago up the street. The Lion stood still, one foot tapping lightly against the street as she stopped to consider where to go for lunch, brow furrowed lightly. Ichiro Priya

Priya pulled up on her bike, parking it outside as she jumped off, made her way in. She gives a bow to the other woman as she goes to enter, but doesn't speak for now... She sort of wants to, but it isn't really her... She stops, and holds the door for the other woman, helmet in her hand, revealing her colonial features.
"You coming in?" she half growls

Uuen-Xiang looks up, seemingly halfway towards deciding to continue on down the street, but shrugs as she catches the other girl's features, raising her gaze to reveal her own, sort of ujik-hai-esque traits.
"Yeah, sure," she says, lighting up in a very chipper smile. She adjusts the collar of her shirt. It looks extremely expensive. Then she steps forward, bowing to the girl before entering the door being held open. "Thank you. Akodo Uuen-Xiang," she says, introducing herself, looking around the restaurant with a gaze that seems not quite impressed, but not disappointed either.

"Ichiro Priya. First year?" she lets the girl pass, and then gives her a word of advice "The fancier it looks, the crapper it is. Good places don't need to pull people in with jade tigers and golden roosters"
She walks up to the counter "Murgh roghan ghosht" she asks for "Pilaw Rice" she puts some coins on the counter. "You know Ivory Kingdom foods?"

"1st year."
She makes an awkward smile. "Probably not this kind," she says, brow furrowed slightly at the strange language used. "You seem to know more than I about that. Do they eat things other than fish?"
She has walked up next to Priya, basically brushing shoulders with her, looking at the menu.

"Murgh means chicken." she explains "You can also get pig or sheep, if you know what to ask for. For a first timer, I would recommend Murgh Tikka. It is not as hot as some of the other stuff"

Uuen-Xiang raises an eyebrow at the larger girl, seemingly amused. "How interesting," she says in what presumably is meant as a friendly tone of voice, though with the obvious cost of what she's dressed in, it could come across as slightly overbearing as well.
"Now, spiciness would not be a problem. Nothing would stop an Akodo after all, no?" She smiles. "But I shall defer to your suggestion this once. I do quite need some energy."
She stretches. "You play football?" she then asks, turning to look Priya in the face from close distance.

"Not by choice" she smiles, half seriously "I know the rules, and I can run, but I am not the most precise kicker. My sports are martial ones, or roller derby. You?"

"You look like you'd be a mean defender," Uuen-Xiang notes, eyeing up Priya. "I play in goal. I swim a bit. Hard to fall over doing those."
She gives her best, chipper yet shit-eating grin. "I partake in all kinds of sport, though. Never tried roller-derbying, though. Not really the sort of thing you can practice easily out West. Not even at papa's yashiki."
She repeats the dish Priya recommended in a rather muddled manner, clearly not at home with the words. "Do they have a venue here?"

"I think so. Like, all it needs is a roller rink" she heads to a table to wait for her food, and motions that the other girl should sit. "I would like to get a couple of teams going, if no one is into them at the minute. Swimming requires a lot of strength. Maybe you'd be good at derby?"
