"One girl was this...flower child. Just the sweetest thing ever who was great at music and just seemed unreal. Dated her when I was about your age. The other was the Yasuki, he was this pudgy little genius with an obsession to become the next great sumo wrestler. I wonder what ever happend to him? I like all kinds of weird though, and people tend to be nice about leaving the unusual people behind. Makes it easy to make them feel appreciated."

"Some of them are sure, me? So long as you act with honesty and compassion whats the harm. Mind you things were very different growing up a Spider. In some aspects I had a very strict upbringing. In others not at all. I didn't get punished for sneaking off with people when I was young at home, I was punished for being caught or having someone get the better of me."

"Perfection is expected. There weren't many Spider back then either and the whole Empire were watching us for any mistake. My particular family was tasked with representing us in court and ensuring we prove our loyalty to the Empire, so mistakes were not allowed. It is still what we do despite the change in our name."

"I worked hard to save us. Lost every coin I had except for a small bag of them. Loss of a major clan status though. That hurt. That still hurts. It's a powerful weakness where one man can sap the strength out of a great clan and leave us in this state."
