A Crane must never be late.
Kobushi sighed.
He woke up early. Booked the earliest possible train. He'd even packed his belongings two days before. His sister accounted for up to four hours delay, and made him do it too. Yet, somehow, he still ended up late.
And for once, he can't even blame sparring with Mari, a kiln fire, or even his little brother's attention-demanding cat, Dog. Or even the train. If he was being honest, he wasn't sure how he got to Toshi Ranbo so late in the first place.
But he pushed that thought aside. He was at Rokugan High now, at least. The sun was still up. He had time to get settled in, maybe even meet people ahead of time.
Absently, he scratched the area around his scar and began looking for his dorm.
