He smiled at Doji Reiha . "Thank you for the advice. I will keep it in mind." He responded. "Are we having lunch together? I wanted to introduce you to some if my friends." He suggested as Mirumoto Noboru passed behind her. "Meet me at the parking lot? Gotta catch that Dragon, will you excuse me?" He said and bowed. "Oh! Of course Tarik-san! I shall see you after..." Raiha checks her schedule. "... Enigma class. Wonder what that is..." With a little wave she scoots off... /exit

Tarik al-MenjariNoboru pauses as he's addressed and bows to Tarik. Just as his bows with Isao and Fuyuko it's awkward, more reminiscent of someone who just isn't used to dealing with people than someone who is trying to be intentionally disrespectful. It's, as always, followed by a resigned sigh. "You need something... Tail Rick-san was it?" Clearly he had some trouble saying the name and bowed again in apology. At least he tries...He returned the bow. "Indeed I do, Mirumoto-sama. I wanted to apologize for ignoring you. I was unaware that you were acting as am assistant to Fuyuko-sensei and I reacted poorly to your efforts to help us."

The Dragon waves it off slowly with a shrug, looking away from the gaijin. From others it would seem like he's being disrespectful to the other student, treating him as though he's beneath them. But from Noboru? He wears his discomfort of interacting with people like it's a badge of shame.
"Iie. It's fine. I... the fault is mine that none of you were able to strike me. All of you have potential, I just..."
A sigh.
"Forget I said anything."

The response perplexed him. What was the Dragon talking about? "Strike you? Why would I want to strike you? Is it expected by samurai to turn to violence that easily?" He ask in surprise Mirumoto Noboru

Noboru puts his face in his hand, shaking his head slowly. "Iie. My instruction was to strike at me when the music stopped, remember? To sense me out through the void and then have each of you strike at me as if you were drawing your blade?"

He definitely missed that part.
"All I remember is you instructing us in assuming seiza and meditating. I totally missed that apologies." He smirked.
"By the way, meditation and hangover do not mix well in case you don't know that already." He chuckled but soon his face darkened as his head started spinning again.

The Dragon just smirked, "I wasn't going to bring that up, truth be told. You'll find that most Rokugani tend to politely ignore things that might shame someone so as to not make it worse and to not bring shame to themselves. I've talked to my share of drunken monks, though, and they claim more water will help. Though..."
He snerks, "With a Togashi, it's sometimes hard to tell if they mean actual water or finding more of your inner water."

As for monks I tend to avoid them. They freak me out. Well except for Hiroko-san, she is my shiatsu specialist and her hands make me forget anything." He smiled. "So what's you are up to?"

Noboru tried not to roll his eyes at the comment about his massage therapist. Instead, the Dragon headed to the locker room, offering briefly. "Getting back into my uniform then going to my next class."
About that moment one of the maintenance crew came in to sweep the dojo before the next class started. The Mirumoto motioned for the peasant to come over and asked. "Can you get someone to look at locker DH108? The door sticks and I have to pound on it to open it."
