Tarik rolled his eyes at the two of them. Ok the Badger being anan impolite brute was normal, but the Crane? He frowned. "So Tarik-sama, what do you say, Invidi food later?" He took his eyes from the screen of his mobile. "Sadly already booked for lunch and dinner today." He responded. "I guess tomorrow." He suggested.

"Tomorrow could work" she nods with a smile, sitting back and getting quiet when she remembers her date with Otomo-Sensei

A most unexpected student arrives in class and gives the sensei a respectful bow and an uncertain smile.
The little artisan takes her seat and offers the rest of the class a meek little wave.

Priya stands and bows to the Artisan, still worried that she had offended her the night before

Kobushi waves back. She was a Clanmate, so he made her feel welcome. As best he can, at least.

"Daidoji-san, this is my good friend Tarik al-Menjari," Isao properly introduced his gaijin friend to his newfound friend, Daidoji Kobushi. "He's actually betrothed to a Doji. So, we sort of have to make sure he's prepared to become a right and proper Crane." He couldn't have Tarik acting like an uncouth barbarian after all. Isao nodded and once Doji Reiha arrived he beamed at her, smiling. He offered her a little wave, his demeanor as light and carefree as a spring breeze. "Welcome to class, Doji-san. I don't think we've met before - I'm Kakita Isao, First Year. Who're you?"

Akodo Seijuro is the next to enter the dojo, the tan skinned Lion finding a nice seat away from all of the pleasant conversation. As he makes his way to that seat, his golden eyes scan over the others and their demeanor as if judging the array of a battlefield. After all, these were all potential future opponents.
When he finds his spot, he sits quietly and removes and old dog-earred copy of Leadership from his bag and begins to thumb through it.

"A proper Crane?" He nods. "Tarik-san, the first lesson is simple. Don't do what I do."

Post by Daidoji Satoru on Jan 15, 2018 8:50:02 GMT -5
First class of the day. Fortunately the Daidoji took care during the party yesterday not to load up on too much alcohol. He still decided to wear the mask today, as he typically did in more formal settings to avoid accidental social mishaps around superiors. He blinks at the odd positioning of the chairs upon entering the doji and the instruction. Doji-sensei is standing by, ready to receive her students.
Satoru approaches, having brought his bag of whatever necessary supplies could come in handy for Iajutsu, and bowed to their teacher. "Good morning, Doji-sensei. I look forward to your lesson."
He spots Tarik right away but he's still just a tad salty about yesterday. In deciding to keep a distance for now, he takes a seat away from the others as the sign on the practice sword instructed them to.

While the other students piled into Fuyuko-sensei's class, one in particular kept to himself just close enough to actually be part of the class while far enough away to show relative disinterest. This was complicated by the fact he had a guitar in his hands, an E minor arpeggio strummed out lightly, tempo slow. The tune itself may almost be considered solemn or sorrowful.
