"Hmm..."
He could see it. The lesson was certainly unorthodox compared to the far more traditional lessons he had already learned but the more he thought about it, was it different at all? Everything was a matter of perspective. With a nod the Kakita grinned, eager to attempt the exercise.

Suzaku nearly bounced and smiled well beyond th bounds of decorum, brushing the long black hair aside from his boyish face.

Fuyuko turns and glares as the student enters, staring him in the eyes before she glares. "That was your one chance. Do not fail again. I have a clean eye-patch if you need one but I will not having you disrespect the class by arriving in an un-presentable fashion. And speak with me after class." She doesn't seem scared or grossed out but more, angry at the Unicorn. She nods as she removes on of the chairs. "The rest of you will find I am not a conventional sensei. We will learn stance, we will learn strikes. But right now you need to learn the mind of a duelist. Even the most skilled poet cannot do well if they do not know how to write Rokugani. So then, take your positions and we will begin soon. Dragon-san, I will be using my own music. You are welcome to follow it if you wish."

Priya stands, ready to play. Taking a breathe and trying to get herself in the right head space.

Post by Doji Reiha on Jan 15, 2018 13:37:06 GMT -5
Reiha keeps quiet throughout the Q&A session. She is just an artisan, after all, but though some of those answers come close, they're not quite there yet. Iaijutsu is a spiritual art, judgement from the Heavens. No one spoke of that...
She smiles uncertainly as she rises to play a children's game. Is it allowed to find this exercise fun? Or are they supposed to take this deadly serious and be competitive?

He got up and followed Reiha. It wasn't that he felt it was stupid. It was that his head was still spinning...

Satoru likewise rises, putting his things aside so they don’t end up in anybody’s way. He takes the mask off so it doesn’t interfere with his peripherals. He has bags under his eyes, which weren’t there yesterday. He spent way longer at that party last night than he wanted to. He wasn’t hungover, but he was pretty tired.

"Yes thank you Sensei I suppose I will take one..?" He says maybe a bit confused about the eye patch part. He stands and awaits the game to begin.

Arriving a little late, detained by trying to help out a stray animal getting out of the main walkways of the campus, Sakura makes her way in. She bows to the sensei, her tone apologetic.
"Forgive this one's tardiness, sensei."

Fuyuko turns to glare at Sakura. "Forgiven, this once. Do not let it happen again." she says in her strict voice before she goes and grabs a black silk eyepatch for the Shinjo. "The game is musical chairs. I will play the music. When the music stops you will sit. This is of mind not force, I will not see pushing or shoving."
