Eito grins. "No trouble, have a seat. Someone can fill you in. For right now we are finding out your name, why you are taking this class and favorite type of candy. As I told them I won't get anyone in trouble for being late."

Uuen-Xiang nods, holding up three fingers. "Akodo Uuen-Xiang. My father owns Mimikyu Imports, I'll inherit it one day. Don't eat candy," she says, lowering a finger for each sentence. She looks around, checking if she had butted in front of anyone, but not really that concerned about it.

Momiko's mother had INSISTED she take economics. No ifs ands or buts about it. ...frankly, she wasn't excited at the prospect. But mother had said that at least a basic understanding of such things would be necessary for her. So here she was.
When she looked in the classroom, it seemed like people were already talking, with each other and with the teacher. Was... she late?
On my first day? ...Mother is going to be very mad. I never asked what the protocol for such things here is. I mean, I wonder where their dungeon is, and if they send you there for your first offense?

Mako saw another girl with pink hair walk through the door, and waved happily to her, pointing to an empty seat next to her, "Just come in and introduce yourself! No panicking about being late allowed!" Mako teased from her seat, giggling up a storm after doing so, "And tell us what kind of candy you like too!" She was forgetting the part about why someone was in that class, but she was sure the Sensei would correct her in just a few seconds.

Momiko thought she'd been stealthier than that. Why if she'd walked in on a drug deal...
Opening the door the rest of the way, she bowed deeply, backpack shifting on her back as she did so, hands clasped in front of her, "I... I-I am Asahina Momiko. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu! And, um..."
She stood back up straight, hands still clasped, "I am in this class because I am supposed to inherit my mother's company one day, so.... Oh! And, I suppose I like matcha stick candy best~"
Momiko blushed, not expecting all this at all.

"It's nice to meet you, Asahina-chan~!" The Imperial was sitting pretty close to the door, so she was happy to smile at the newcomer, "I've already introduced myself, but I'm Otomo Mako." Everyone else seemed like they were going to be inheriting their companies, or working for the family business to help their family. Part of Mako felt disloyal for being so honest about how she was learning commerce so she could show up her siblings and get made heir despite the age gap, to steal away their fortunes and earn her place at the head of the table.
The other part was distracted by all the cute girls in the class.

Hoshiko hopped up. "I don't need an introduction I'm sure" she grinned "however, I am Doji Hoshiko, better known as Black Swan, the bassist of the band blackened feathers. My father runs the production label 'Notes', one of the biggest labels in the Empire. I'm an only child, so at some point my father is going to expect me to move from amazing musician, to amazing producer, and these lessons taught by an awesome teacher" Eito got a smile "will help me in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing what we learn!"
A pause.
"Oh, and I love coffee sweets."
Back down she sits!

It seems like everyone in this class is the heir or heiress to some fortune then. The Daidoji sank into his seat a centimeter or so, feeling well out of place. Was he the only person here who wanted nothing to do with business? Everyone else is so enthusiastic about taking up their family's fortune. How was he supposed to disappear into obscurity if he couldn't pretend to be even a little excited about it?
It's fine; with high energy and high profile folks like Otomo Mako and Doji Hoshiko in this class, he could manage to be a wallflower before anyone even notices his name is on the attendance roster days from now. That's kind of what he hoped for.
