Eito claps his hands together again. "I think that was a spirited debate though, and left you all with many questions. I am calling the class early but you are all welcome to stay to keep discussing the topic or if you wish to speak with me. Please do remember, I teach a class on the Ethical Systems of Shourido as well, I have found it immensely useful in my business dealings. I will always accept new students looking for insight into other ways of excelling. Next class will be covering material from chapters 1 to 4 in the textbook. Study them and do exercises as you will. Those of you who have been dying to get out can do so now." he says as he walks to sit down at his desk, waiting to see if any of the students have more questions or debate for him.

"Why did you choose to teach here, sensei?" She raised an eyebrow at the teacher as he dismissed the others, jumping right to the sensible question, "You obviously have the skill and know how to make it out in the world and be far more important than a simple school teacher. So why choose to come and mold young minds, instead of doing something bigger? The goodness of your heart?" She wasn't accusing him of anything, perhaps he really did just decide his calling was teaching - and charming - young men and women. But she doubted it. Meanwhile, she was absently nibbling on one of the chocolate koku, and obviously enjoying it from her smile. Specifically one of Tarik's.

Oh, Satoru wanted out. He wanted out quite badly and he wasn’t going to be the least bit sorry for excusing himself when presented with the opportunity to do so.
He picked up his things and made sure all had been collected that needed collecting, but in the process he overheard Otomo Mako’s question posed towards their instructor.
Probably to influence a younger generation with his twisted ideals, the Daidoji thought. And he probably thinks he’s doing us all a service rather than wittingly manipulating us for nefarious purposes. Maybe he should have just said it instead of thought it, but he didn’t want to end up in another debate with the Shibatsu. They only seemed to excite the former Spider.
He did pass by Tarik however, feeling less sour about last night compared with how this class made him feel. “Hey, sorry. Everything’s fine. I’m over it.” He wasn’t actually over it, but he didn’t want Tarik to keep worrying about it.

Momiko sat there, pencil in hand, unsure of what to do next. She contemplated bugging out with the Daidoji, but the Otomo wasn't going. And it would be impolite to leave before an Imperial did...
For now she pretended to take notes, hiding a drawing with her other hand.

Eito taps his fingers on his lips a second. "Well it's not for money. My company is in a blind trust. It's for all of you. There is a shortage of good buisnessmen and women in the world. Many are either consumed by greed and pettiness or view it as a dishonorable act and try to practice their craft as little as possible. I want to help train a new generation. Shrewd but compassionate. Capable of going out into Rokugon and gathering resources to make her stronger. So they can build and rebuild the Empire." he says before pausing and smiling. "The fact that I can also show all of you that the Spider clan can be trusted and has some wisdom to it, that is a wonderful side bonus."
