"Well sensei, it is for a good cause." Yoko smiled. "As you were saying that singing is not only about one voice but a harmony be it with the instruments or with other voices. I wanted to show the class how this can be achieved and Otomo sama has agreed to sing with me." She looked at Mako and winked once again.

She nods.
"Well, the stage is yours. Show us what you can do, Otomo-san."

Mako was... perhaps slightly awkward, moving towards the Scorpion first, and offering a hand to her. She wasn't sure why she was doing this, except to look good and show off for Hisui. And perhaps so Hoshiko noticed her - no, no, that wasn't the reason at all. Maybe it was just to have fun, and try something new - she honestly had never tried performing with someone. She knew a lot of music, but she hoped her partner to be had picked a good song, as she moved to the front. Stage fright wasn't real. Nope.

Hisui moves in close, leans in to whisper.
First to Yokohime. "Don't go too easy on her, Yoko-chan."
And then to Mako. "You can do this. I believe in you."

Yoko smiled mischivously.
She wouldn't hold back. Yoko smiled at Mako and nodded.

Mako had to search deep inside herself for something that was both a duet, and gay poppy enough that she knew every word to it, and could possibly start with. A glance to Yoko, who was next to her, and a raise of an eyebrow as she asked, "Like, dislike?". After the agreement from the other girl, and then a deep breath, she started to sing, her voice more clear with the song than it was on its own, showing how despite the lack of formal practice in hitting pitches, she had, in fact, tried to mimic singing songs rather often. Without the background music, it would perhaps miss a bit of it's appeal, but the girl was happy to augment the singing by beginning to dance, flowing through the moves in an instant, evidently a very, very good dancer, despite her sometimes clumsiness. After all, Hisui said part of the class was learning to put on a show, and you can't just sing. You gotta dance. She hoped Yoko could at least not fall. "I like you - dislike you- don't know how I feel." Not even a glance to Yoko, whom she knew would carry the next line, followed by her own... the song was built for two, but Yoko clearly could hold her own, and play with her, right? Dancing - 41Singing - 37

Hoshiko had made her way round...to her fellow Crane. She sat down next to Reiha.
"Hey...are you ok?" she asked quietly

Hoshiko had made her way round...to her fellow Crane. She sat down next to Reiha. "Hey...are you ok?" she asked quietly "H... Hey. I think there has been a mistake? This is not a beginner's class I think? My mother is a famous singer, so she signed me up for this but perhaps she did not check the prerequisites? I did not even now we had to prepare a song! Was there an e-mail I missed?" The young Doji looks nervous as she rechecks her schedule and the class room number.
