Mochihime simply exudes ennui as she rises and collects her frog and goes to the assigned desk. She raises an eyebrow at Yoruga as he seems to hesitate. Obviously there is no one better than herself to demonstrate, but the Scorpion is a close second.
"So, Miromoto-sensei?" She puts on her gloves. "How shall we proceed?"
The Otomo is utterly confident in herself. After all, model-building and painting them requires a very steady hand...

First they couldn't bring Fenne to class then they were asked if they wanted to die... Now THIS... the two girls shook their head in unison. She took out her phone and typed. I don't want either and there are models on the internet... we don't need to do this.
The girl could sense the fear in the frogs. She wrote on the blackboard. I am sorry frog friends. Kiki took the frogs in the box and the two girls...

Uuen-Xiang fiddles with the scalpel a little, looking at the by now deceased frog. It smells a bit, she feels, but nevertheless, she rolls up her sleeves, looking at the amphibian.
"Hardly seems compassionate or honourable..." she mumbles in a low voice to herself as she turns her attention back to the teacher and her 'assistants'.

Momiko had asked for a dead frog. Which was now in front of her as the two others were called up to the front; She wasn't one for killing things... or blood and guts. But having learned a lot about medicine from her mother, she was at least somewhat used to such things.

"Let me get the video on and you just have to follow my instruct..." The Mirumoto starts explaining to her two assistants when the Isawa leave in protest.
"Isawa chan..." What can she say, really? Ask them to come back? Threaten them that they will fail the class? She is still thinking about this when yet another protester seems to raise her voice in unison with the Isawa's concerns.
"Akodo chan, I assure you that the compassion and honor that comes with saving a human life go beyond anything you can imagine." Not a good answer, but not a bad either. What did they expect really when they took biology?
Another look at her watch. She has to speed things up a bit. The Mirumoto returns to her desk and the a video starts playing in one of the video walls. Just next to it, Yoruga's and Mochihime's work is also shown. "First we will begin with a small in-cession. Please, everyone hands on the scalpels and make sure that you have worn your gloves." She urges them and then explains the more practical aspects of their very first procedure.
"Let's see who my little star will be this year!" She says excitedly and claps her hands.
/OOC: Everyone, please, give me an int/lore: anatomy roll TN 15 and an agi/lore: anatomy TN 15. For every two successful raises Yoruga and Mochihime manage to do in each roll, everyone is awarded one free raise in their own rolls.

Yoshi hoped he wasn't too late for the start of class as he sneaked his way in and attempted to find a seat. managing to find some place near the back. he kept his head down, hopping not to get too noticed as he starting his obsessive note-taking. then the young crab noticed the subject matter and stopped "Dissecting a frog. what a great way to start the year..." Yoshi said sarcastically to nobody in particular as he took a deep and steadied himself. even hacking open a dead frog was a bit un-nerving. but a grade was a grade. So he scrubbed up and prepared himself ...only to realize their were no more. Yoshi blinked and shrugged. less work for him. but, at least he should make SOME effort. Hinata placed the frog down on her desk and looked it over. She had watched dissections be performed, but she had never done one herself. She was worried she would not be able to do it correctly, but the only way to learn was to try, so she picked up the scalpel. She put all her focus into the cut, picturing how her parents had done dissections, and with a single deft cut she opened the frog from throat to stomach. Perhaps she had talent for this after all. "For science! Your sacrifice will not be forgotten, Frog-sama!" Mochihime gives the class a grin and a wink. As expected (at least by herself) this is child's play! (int+lore: Dissection Frogs (Mind's Fire + void) 2 raises: 8d10o10k7 30agi+lore: Dissection Frogs (voided) 2 raises: 6d10o10k5 54) The noise from outside is getting somewhat tiresome, though. "Errr, Rei-sensei..." Ok, using that particular suffix grates. "Shouldn't we gathering those frogs? Sounds like there's a bunch in the hallway?" |
