All this drama in the air, he just kept quiet.

With a cocky grin Mochihime goes back to her seat and flips open her textbook and takes out her phone to browse a bit.
Boy, Rey is bad at this! Still, the Dragon admitted she was the intellectually superior one, so perhaps she should go easy on her from now on out. She had been a fellow student after all...

Uuen-Xiang looks up from her seat, eyes on the Scorpion. "I do not really see any correlation between my apology and the need for you to give one, Bayushi-san," she says calmly, icily. "I was unclear before, as I did intend that as an apology, but for the record, I apologize to Mirumoto-sensei and my fellow students for my outburst; it was not intended to be an impugning of the honour of anyone present, and I realise my wording was not proper of a child of Akodo-no-Kami."
She bows her head towards the sensei. "I will stay after class, Mirumoto-sensei. As for you, Bayushi-san, I can understand if my comments were misinterpreted due to their wording, but I will contend that they do not merit insulting my whole clan, and I ask you to please heed courtlier heads than mine in Otomo-san and Mirumoto-sensei."

The Dragon takes a quick look towards the Akodo and then her eyes return to Yoruga. "You were kind of harsh and slightly improper. You don't have to, but it would be better if you did. For yourself that is." She explains to the boy softly and barely avoids to ruffle his hair before exiting, but in the end, she doesn't really avoid it. She is already a few steps away when she returns and does that. "It is very good to see you in case I haven't said it yet. I haven't, right?' Rey doesn't wait for an answer but rushes out of the classroom. it takes more than a couple of minutes to catch just one of the amphibians. Time schedule is of essence and she can't wait longer. The woman opens the Isawa Spell App in her cellphone and browses through her personal profile. She closes her eyes and prays to the air kami. A light wind travels through the hall and soon the poor frogs are thrown outside. At least, they won't be around when the classes come to an end. Then she returns inside the classroom and discreetly injects the frog with a lethal dosage of sedative before handing the amphibian to Yoshi. "Here you are, Kaiu kun." "Disaster averted everyone! Let's return to normalcy. Does anyone need any assistance with the in cession?" She asks and starts explaining the scientific part of what they are doing. /OOC: Freedom of the Air: 29 |

He shrugged at Mirumoto Rey and lowered his shoulders in resignation. "You did not and thanks, you should have texted." He replied before walking back to his desk. He looked at Akodo Uuen-Xiang. "You claim that your words were misinterpreted, yet you do the same with mine. I fail to see how I offended your clan and I most certainly did not mean to. So I guess sowry. Happy now?" He didn't bother to hide that he wasn't sorry at all. Freaking snowflake... |

Uuen-Xiang sighs, stands up, and bows deeply towards the Mirumoto. "I am sorry, Sensei, I did not wish for this to happen, but in the light of the blatant insincerity, I feel I have little choice in the matter."
She rights herself, turning the few degrees of a circle towards Yoruga, gaze hardening. "Bayushi Yoruga-san. For insults to and mockery of my clan as well as of Honor itself, I challenge you." She looks back at the teacher. "Once again, I deeply apologize, Mirumoto-sensei."
She then sits down as if nothing has happened, looking aside at someone working on a frog close by.

She gives the Scorpion boy an exasperated look. "What in Jigoku!? That was a really crappy apology, man! What did you expect?", she whispers to him, leaning in.

"Oh...thank you...Sensei" he said, exasperated. He genuinely thought he was off the hook from doing any actual work that involved working with organs and blood. still, it was either this or listen to the childish fighting around him. Yoshi slipped on some earbuds and re-scrubbed himself properly, turning to the page in the biology book for at least some level of guidance on proper dissection techniques as well as just good old fashion recollection what he picked up from the video // Int + lore (anatomy) + Precise Memory /w 1 raise: 5k5 = 28 // Agl + lore (anatomy) + void point: 4k3 = 21 (should have taken a raise...) |

Hinata sighed, and noticed Yoshi putting in his earbuds. She gave him a sympathetic look, and then turned back to her book, trying to ignore the chaos unfolding around her. Her parents were struggling to send her here even with a scholarship, and she was going to learn, the rest of the class be damned.

Momiko stayed out of the little conflict; It didn't involve her... or the Crane. Besides, she didn't know what to do about the situation anyways. And there was this frog... Looking at next to Kuni Hinata her, she cleared her throat lightly, "Um... Would you like to work on this together, Kuni-sama. Or do you work better alone?" |
