Seppun Kojima leaned on the edge of his desk as he waited for his class to start. It was 9:50 as he waited for the Class 1 students to make their way to Class 2. The Imperial was teaching Military Science in Classroom 4A of the main building, his classroom relatively spartan; there were 25 desks and chairs for his students, his desk at the front of the room, and a large wall dry erase board behind it. One side of the room was covered in windows, letting in light. A copy of The Book of Sun Tao was in his hand as he waited.
Kojima was a tall, lean man was a neat appearance. He had dark hair, darker eyes, and the crisp polish expected of the military. He waited for the clock to strike 10:00 as the students filtered into the room.

The Utaku is one of the earliest students to arrive, notebooks and textbooks balanced in her arms. She nods to the sensei and sets up near the back of the class, seeming quite attentive, but wondering why her favorite sensei from last year wasn't teaching it. Might have been his tendency to go off on the most awesome but weird tangents, that were informative, but occasionally scandalous.

"Welcome to class, Utaku-san," Kojima casually greeted the Unicorn without looking up from his book. "Students, please file in from the front row to the back. I would like to see all of your eager, excited faces."
He turned the page and continued reading as the clock in the room continued to tick, getting ever closer to 10:00 AM.

Ryuha was the next to enter; she paid the sensei a greeting with a respectful bow, before finding a seat beside Joo-Eun.

"Welcome to class, Mirumoto-san," Kojima greeted the Dragon in turn. Just the same he kept his eyes on his book, reading as the students continued to filter in.
Once it was 9:55 AM he closed his copy of The Book of Sun Tao, set it on his desk, and walked around to his dry erase book. With a black dry erase marker he wrote his name and class on the board.
Seppun Kojima.
Military Science.
Once he wrote on the board, he turned back to his class and looked at all of their faces. They still had a few minutes to start.

Suzaku entered, uniform neat but clearly an old hand me down, bearing a relatively new Sparrow mon and carrying a bag indicating he came here straight from iaido class. He subconsciously hid his calloused hands as he bowed to the instructor and filed in quietly.

Ryouko stepped in a few minutes before start, her expression an expressionless mask. She snapped to attention at the entrance of the class, offering the teacher a very militaristic bow. It was clear she had at least trained with soldiers in the past. Wordlessly, the Unicorn made her way to a free desk at the front of the room, nodding to her fellow Utaku.
She began to pull out notebooks and pens from the small back she carried.

Yoshi strolled into class with hands in his hoodie. bowing a bit to the professor as he passed by. he found an available desk and sat, very much in his own world with music blaring in his earbud. pulling one out as to hear if class started while producing a beat-up notebook from his backpack.

Ichiro walked into class a bit out of breath having run from his last class. In his haste he almost barged through the door with no sense of ceremony. He stopped abruptly and turned to bow to the sensei "Good morning sensei." scanning the room he saw only one familiar face and approached Utaku Joo-Eun "hello Utaku-san, hope your day is going well. Did you have a good time at the party last night? Glad to see at least one somewhat familiar face in class."

Clearly, the Utaku is set to one up the teacher slightly, as on her desk is not only The Book of Sun Tao but the famous commentary on it, Sword and Fan. She slides this book away when she sees the teacher only take out the Sun Tao, a little disappointed, but again, probably not surprised, as the Sword and Fan commentary was the one that most often led to the discussion of useful but scandalous asides from the previous teacher. Perhaps the Seppun had been told to stick with just the Sun Tao this year.
