Not bad. Let's see if she knows this one...Noboru seemed to smirk just a little at Koko and Kiki before offering the pair a nod as they sang and signed along to the songs both musicians were dueling each other with. Not one to give away his best material just yet, the Dragon seems to switch up the something a little more obscure. Nothing too difficult, but it had a fairly decent melody and a nice solo. They were, after all, Rock & Roll Rebels at the moment...

There was a smile at that. She knew the song! She replied with another classic, enjoying herself. Still, neither of them were pushing themselves...

Perhaps to Hoshiko's delight, Noboru chimed in with the harmony to the song so that the pair were playing one composition and not just dueling back and forth at this point. This was a rarity for the Dragon, and the two Phoenix with him would probably see the Mirumoto boy crack a genuine smile. Challenging or not, the change of the between being very folksy to progressive to hard rock created its own series of challenges, especially for two guitarists playing from so far apart. Either one of them being behind on the tempo would throw the entire piece off!

Hoshiko's smile grew when Noboru joined in. It was awesome! She kept up her tempo with ease, being careful not to speed up too much as it got to faster points.

Now all they were missing was a singer and a drummer and the set would be complete. Though at that point the magistrates might have to step in for having a concert without a license! Either way, their jam could be heard across the courtyard and to most of the school buildings. Since there wasn't anyone to sing for them, the Mirumoto began playing the lyrics on his instrument as a form of solo, wondering if the Doji would join in on her bass:

As Noboru took on the lead solo, Hoshiko took on the roll of the bassist that she knew well. She seemed perfectly happy to be the backing sounds to Noboru's leading roll, so they could enjoy the performance together.

he was wrong about what he said the day before and this was his proper apology to the Doji.

Hoshiko was giving it her all now, not wanting to ruin the perfect melody the two had got. She had all but forgotten the previous day; this was all she wanted, someone to play music with.
In other words; Apology accepted!
