She snaps her fingers and grins. "Well now you do know how to charm a woman off her feet." She takes a sip from her tea. "But yes you've hit the nail more or less on the head with that one. I would like to see you be a touch more confident in handling yourself in these social situations." She looks again the girl. "What would you be willing to sacrifice for the strength you seek?"

Otomo Katsumi chuckles and rests her head on her shoulder. "Now that is a difficult question to answer. As the Bushido teacher I feel inclined to answer follow Bushido but as a member of the Otomo line I feel it has ever been my duty to follow the will of my lord." She folds her hands together. "With that notion in mind I personally feel following one's duty to their lord is more important it is on that principle my father raised me. On that note how is your relationship with your parents."

"My parents are good enough people. Busy people, didn't have much time for a middle child of six, but I didn't feel neglected either. I went to school, our relationship got some distance to it. The last time I saw them was my gempukku." She shrugs "I know they are proud, but they have lots to do." The next few questions were dangerous territory. They spoke alot of trust and ties that bound. "What do you want from our future? By which I mean, what do you see us becoming to each other?"

Oh you really do want to find out if I mean you harm don't you Ichiro-Chan. She puts her fingers to her lips smirking playfully. "Becoming friends to be honest. How exactly that plays out is yet to be seen I am no future teller. I have no skills in fortune just skills in people." She sips her tea. Now putting the empty cup down. "Let us continue this line of inquiry shall we. What do you see us becoming to each other?"

"I have known you a day, and when I think of you at has been a guiding hand, a teacher, a mentor." she confirms "When it has not been thoughts of a darker nature, wondering how this might be a situation engineered to my detriment. Honesty and sincerity demands I confess to fleeting thoughts of a more... intimate relationship, but I fear such a thing would always be unbalanced by our beginning"

She folds her hands together. "I'll start by putting this much out of your mind. I have no attraction to women. My attraction lies solely with men. Even if I were to have an attraction to women. I have no desire to risk compromising myself on an intimate relationship with a student." She waves her hand somewhat lackadaisically. "Though that does not answer your question it does answer what I view was an unasked first question. To answer the actual question at mind. That depends on you. If you do devote yourself to my teaching then I see myself taking you on as a pupil. I will guide you, aid you, help you, be someone I hope you can feel comfortable confiding in. If you decide you rather not... Well I suppose I break off this relationship and move on to another." She shrugs her shoulders. "Though I confess that would break my heart to know that I lost someone with such raw talent as yourself. Though the blame would fall squarely on my shoulders for such a woeful blunder on my part."

Otomo Katsumi winks at Ichiro Priya. "Maybe had you been older you may have been able to sway me." She taps her finger to her chin. "I'll return the question you asked me back to you. How do you see this going from here?"
