Koko nodded. "Yes chef..." She started to look for the ingredients for egg recepy Which non were actual eggs.

Kogeki thinks a moment, going through his notebook where he keeps his recipe before he smiles. Ivory Toast! That would be the best answer. He goes to the pantry and starts picking out the various spices he would need for the dish. "Sensei. Do we have a blowtorch and would this one need supervision to use it?"

"Indeed we do," Saito answers, going over to show Kogeki where it was kept. "And while I'm tempted to insist that you do need to be supervised, given your previous demonstration of the extent of your responsibility, I'm a teacher, not babysitter, and you are an adult." He says the last part with a decent portion of cautious skepticism.
"My presence here is authority enough to use all provided equipment," he clarifies to them all, "though then it falls upon my head if any of you cause any damage. Do keep that in mind." The veils on Saito's threats were molecules-thin.

Koko instead of using a microwave to temper the chocolate she used a double boiler. She mixed a bit of butter to grant it a bit of oily shine to the eggs that she was going to be making.

Kogeki nods and starts cracking some eggs and prepping some bacon. He is a flurry of motion as he goes about cutting some bread into neat squares. Already from his station one can smell the curry like spices he is mixing in with half of the egg.

Natsu was shuffling about quietly in a corner, making something that looked almost unbearably r ustic and rural, but also was likely some kind of take on what appeared to be something not too far from eggs benedict. Maybe. It was clearly some local dish, anyhow. The Wasp was clearly content with just quietly going about her business, not paying much mind to the other two.

Saito gave the teaching kitchen a circuit to check on all the students' progress. When he got to Koko, however, he stopped, his features becoming even more sour than usual, if such a thing was possible.
"No... just... no, Koko-san," he says, looking at her well-crafted confection. "I'm trying to judge your skill at making a dish with eggs, not how blasted clever you think you are! Which, by the way, this is not. You've demostrated you know how to melt something prettily. How impressive. In fact, the only reason I'm not immediately ejecting you from class is that you at least didn't use a microwave. So, for this first assignment, you are receiving the lowest non-failing grade possible. Congratulations, you can't even say that you have nowhere to go but up." He shakes his head and moves on.

Kogeki winces at the criticism even though it isn't directed at him, giving the girl a sympathetic look as he seperates his egg, adding spices to the white and laying them on the pan even as he dips the bread in the batter and places it on a different pan with the bacon so the flavor infuses. He begins to make the sauces as he prepares the plating

Koko smiled at the sensei. "I am not done yet sensei." She now that the forms of the whites where made, Koko separated 3 eggs as she added sugar and a bit if cream of tartar as stabilizer. Took the mixer and started whipping the egg whites until they has soft peaks. She added yellow coloring and folded it into the mix. She made little droplets to make the yolk of the egg put them in the oven to dry.

Natsu shrinks visibly at the criticism, even though it is not aimed at her, continuing to complete the weird dish she was making. Seemed to include an awful lot of something that appeared to be mustard seeds. A lot of them. Not that she was saying anything at any moment, clearly content to not be noticed at all.
