Ryouko smiled down at the fox, nodding. She reached up, scratching the horses forehead. Daisuke leaned forward a bit more, huffing against Reiha's hair, blowing the strand everywhere. "He likes it when you scratch him here." The Unicorn said, showing the spot to Reiha. "Go ahead, if you'd like."
She glanced back, catching Tarik's eyes and blushing slightly, before quickly returning her attention to the Crane and her steed.

Kogki chuckles as he continues to work on the food. "Isn't it? Those big guys are the best." he says nodding in appreciation of his fellow large loyal hardworking breathern. "Oh hey Reiha-san, I think I have you in a couple of classes right? Poetry for sure." "Errr, poetry? No, I'm taking literature, but not poetry... But I think we're in singing and performing arts! I'm not very good at them, but Okaa-sama signed me up for them. She's a famous singer and dancer, you see, still hopes I suddenly start liking the spotlight." She smiles weakly and shrugs. "Guess it can't hurt! Though there are some really talented people in those classes, like professionals..." Ryouko smiled down at the fox, nodding. She reached up, scratching the horses forehead. "Go ahead, if you'd like." Reiha giggles again as the horse ruffles her hair, and obviously eager, but still cautious as she follows Ryouko intructions, scratches Daisuke. "I can see why you are fond of him, and horses in general." She beams a smile at the big lug. "He is both gentle, yet at the same time obviously very powerful. It must be very scary if he uses his strength against you." |

Reiha was a treasure trove on information on how to tease his new friend later. He suppressed a chuckle while still staring at Ryouko. He blushing was all the encouragement he needed after. Since the others get along nicely and Daisuke seemed to enjoy all the attention he did not say anything.

"Oh! Sorry, was distracted in Poetry by uh..stuff right music and performing arts!" he says with a bright grin. "Naw don't worry we are to learn, Im sure you are great at something too." he says with a nod.

"Doji-san is quite knowledgeable in literature." She said for the Spider's benefit, smirking slightly. Well, manga were a form of literature!
She nodded to the young Crane. "Indeed, Utaku steeds are very intelligent, Daisuke understands most of what we say. Mostly by our tones, but he catches some words, too. You're quite right that they can be rather frightening. He might look like a gentle giant, but a Steed like him can easily trample down a wall of infantry... Or a shadowland beast." She added the last part under her breath, her voice a dangerous growl.

I bet you can make a mean kitsune udon!" Reiha takes a step back from Daisuke, careful not to startle him. Her smile turns a bit sad. Daisuke's ancestors were warriors once, eager to join their riders in battle. But is there still place for them besides their companions in today's wars? She bows to Daisuke. "It is an honor to meet you, Daisuke-san. You do your friend proud, I can tell." |

He was not paying much attention to what was spoken, yet he noticed the change of mood of Ryouko with her closing words. He gave her a concerned look, hoping that her mood would not be affected.

"Ah! Manga and Drawing! I uh like Manga." he says before.. nope don't ask him what kind. Don't ask him what kind. "Oh yeah! No Udon is great. Soaks up everything. Great for beef or strong vegetables."

"Oh?" Reiha perks up. "What kind? Oh, and I don't like meat, I'm veggie. You should really try kitsune udon! A good, strong kombu dashi broth, aburaage and the udon noodles. I practically live on the stuff!"

Kogeki gives a slight irritated glare at Tarik. "Bro, you didn't tell me anyone was veggie.... ok this is fine, I got enough stuff hasn't touched meat yet. Uh this won't be my best work Doji san but I can try to make you some grilled stuffed peppers. Sorry. If I had known I would have prepped a good recipie for you."
