She had set up two umbrellas on her roof to keep the amp and the guitar dry, not wanting to change her favourite time of the morning! Not sure if Mirumoto Noboru would show or not, she sent a picture message of herself sitting under the umbrella with the guitar. She played a song while she waited to stay warm.

For a bit, it would seem that he did leave her hanging out to dry. But then the downbeat of the first verse hits and she would hear that familiar guitar returning her call from the boy's dorm. Then something surprising as she heard him shouting out the chorus from across the way! When it came time to play his solo, the Mirumoto decided to kick it up a notch as he sought to make sure the entire school could hear them both playing this morning! (OOC: Three called raises on solo, roll after -15 is a 17)

Okay, she was definitely better than him. That shouldn't be totally unexpected, though. I mean she has spent her entire life playing to the point of making it her career while he used it as a distraction from life. That didn't mean he was about to give up, though. Instead, the Dragon chose to see just how diverse her knowledge and playing skill was and chose something that might be a bit of an oldie but one could say the future was changed by it, too!

There was the briefest pause from Hoshiko; she wasn't sure about this one, and needed to listen for a bit to make sure she knew the song before she joined in. Clearly a win for him! She did join in eventually though, mentally cursing herself to not knowing this one.

Thankfully for Noboru, he didn't get anywhere near as fancy trying to strum out his solo as Kitsune Maikeru did, more intent on getting it right than seeking some silly flourishes. Either way, the fact she didn't know brought a different smile on his face. One determined to let them learn from each other and grow as musicians.
Your turn, Doji-san.

It was cold, and the best way of warming up was to keep moving, right? So, she brought up her favourite old practice song, and started rocking it!She wasn't trying to show off, just going for older music as it seemed the Dragon really liked them.

Noboru chimed in with an all-too familiar refrain, taking the chance to move about the rooftop in a limited manner so as to not get too cold while not letting his instrument and amps get wet. May have to do this from the room next time, regardless of what that stupid RA thinks. As the pair continued to play that smile began to creep up on his face once more. So rare and so genuine. He'd never be her equal, but it made him forget his pain and anger even if it could never replace them and that was good enough for now.

Hoshiko grinned at Noboru joined in, and the Dragon would swear he heard the girl shout "whoo!" as they rocked out. She stood, moving around as she played under the umbrella, grinning more. Looping the bass and going quicker, waiting to see if he would join her or move to another song.
