The bass part was quickly added. While the part Noboru played was difficult, Hoshiko didn't struggle with the bass, leaving the boy to show off the talents that Hoshiko admired

The power of the second chorus served to build into a strangely fast-paced and very difficult solo. Noboru pulled the instrument up and closer to his body as he started into the riff, his fingers frantically moving from fret to fret as he strummed out the nearly minute long solo!

"Go Noboru! You rock!" Hoshiko shouted as Noboru went on his solo, the girl keeping her bass going loudly to encourage him on! Her part was much easier after all

In a world beyond controlling Are you going to deny the savior In front of your eyes?
The solo had ended and yet the Mirumoto continued to strum to the last minute or so of the music, pouring his heart out into the song, eyes closed and cast downward as he stared toward the girl's dorms.
Power beyond containing Are you going to remain a slave for The rest of your life?
If any had been on the roof with him they could see the sweat beading upon his brow as he tried to give the performance everything he could. His heart. His anger. His pain. Then the song abruptly ended and he collapsed to his knees. There was enough in him for one more song, and so he looked up to the girl's dorms and nodded to Hoshiko. It was her turn to pick how they ended their morning performance; he pointed in her direction to make it clear -- this was her chance to shine!

Hoshiko had moved to the edge of the girls rooftop, a worried expression on her face, rain falling down onto her head as she was outside of the umbrella now. She looked at Noboru, as he nodded, and she nodded back. She knew a good song to finish on. So she started it up. Even though she was on bass, she played it like a lead instead, adding her voice to it as she started to sing, still in the rain.

Noboru joined in without hesitation, slowly standing as he found the strength to play one more song with the Crane girl. He kept his part fairly simple, looking to make absolutely certain this was her chance to show off her skills to the entire school!

And show off she did! Although it was difficult to hear the guitar over the storm coming in, her voice was incredible. A bass guitar was not suited to playing the lead on this, but she gave it all she could. "Hail hail to the good times! 'Cause rock has got the right of way" She pointed to Noboru for the next part "We ain't no legend, ain't no 'cause We're just livin' for today" She wanted him AND others to join in for the famous chorus. "For those about to rock, WE SALUTE YOU!" D2 before class bass rockout! 4 raises VP: 9d10ro1o10k4-20 7D2 before class singing! 2 raises: 8d10o10k5-10 46

Noboru wasn't much of a singer at all, so he simply did what any good fan joining in would do: he shouted out the lyrics in key as best as he could while making sure he simply played the accompaniment and not the lead!
"♪ We rock at dawn on the front line Like a bolt right out of the blue The sky's a-light with the guitar bite Heads will roll and rock tonight ♪"
"For those about to rock, WE SALUTE YOU! ♪"

Noboru would see Hoshiko literally jump as she rocked out a solo on her bass, singing at the top of her (really, quite lovely) voice.
"For those about to rock, WE SALUTE YOU~" "For those about to rock, WE SALUTE YOU~" "For those about to rock, WE..."
Another jump and strum
"SALUTE~"
She looked directly at Noboru.
"YOU~~~~"
