Isao knew he was meeting Utaku Hitomi after school, but he didn't know exactly when and where precisely in the stables. So, the Crane began to wander the campus stables a little blindly, not wanting to text Hitomi and come off lost to her. His eyes furtively looked around the surrounding grounds before he entered the barn proper, walking through an aisle of stalls. A cute by shy Unicorn girl couldn't be hard to miss, right?

Mizuki watched as Kakita Isao wandered into the stables. She gave a horse sigh as she looked down at the lock that had been keeping her in. She neighed hoping to get the attention of Kakita Isao

Isao looked at the horse who seemed to be looking at him. His eyes widened a bit, having never seen sych a large and strong marr such as the Utaku steed. With a smile he tentatiely approached the horse and offered his hand open palmed before he attempted to stroke Mizuki's snout.
"Hello there! You're a very pretty, did you know that?"

Mizuki snorts of course she knew she was pretty. She sniffed his hand before lowering her snout to make it easier for him to pet her. Neighing softly as he does so. "Oh Kakita-San." Utaku Hitomi speaks up closing her umbrella as she enters the stables. Offering the Kakita a slight smile. "I see you met Mizuki." She walks over to Mizuki and gently pets her. "I see you didn't get into any mischief this time Mizuki. No escaping with a dashing young steed." She chuckles and nuzzles her best friend.

"Oh? This is your horse? How fortuitous I was drawn to her," the Crane noted with a smile, watching the affectionate bond between horse and rider in action. He continued to pet the warhorse, enjoying being near a horse since he last rode in his childhood. "Mizuki, is it? She has a pretty name too. Is it true Battle Maidens often meet their steeds as foals when they too are children, or is that just a story?"

Utaku Hitomi turns to Kakita Isao. She frowns ever so slightly in thought her finger resting against her lips. "I can't speak for other Utaku's. I never got out much. I've had Mizuki since she was just born." She gently pets Mizuki. "Ever since that moment me and Mizuki have been inseparable." She turns to face him. "Right then you wanted to go riding with me... Well have you had any experience riding before?"

"Well, I rode when I was younger, about five years ago. My father felt it important I learn all of the traditional samurai arts," he explained to her. "While our family didn't keep horses, I learned the basics. I'm in no way an accomplished horseman, but I could possibly ride down a road without breaking my neck." He nodded at that as he laid out his understanding, which was a beginner's knowledge. All samurai should know how to ride; he knew, he just wasn't great!
He tried to offer Hitomi a reassuring smile.

Utaku Hitomi closed her eyes and nodded her head. "Well that's good then. I can also presume that you don't own a horse yourself." She pulls out her cellphone smiling at the Kakita. For the first time since meeting her she seemed far more confident. "Well then that's not a problem if you are willing to wait here with me for a few moments. I can have a special horse brought here for you. The rainy weather might make it a bit more difficult of a ride though..." She closes her eyes.

"Yeah, I don't own a horse," he said, smiling nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. "But if you can bring another one... Well, that would be really cool of you and I'll totally make it up to you." As she seemed to warm up and come out of her shell, he smiled a bit more in his boyish way. He was patient but as far as he was concerned, he was happily in pleasant company.

She smiles and pulls out her phone. After a few moments of talking she smiled happily and hung up her phone. "The easy part is calling them to get the horses over." She stretches and walks over and begins undoing the padlock on her Mizuki's stall. "I arranged a few choices for you. So it's going to be up to you which horse you prefer. Don't worry they have all been trained for someone of what I presume is your skill level. How do I put it... It's really more an appearance thing I suppose." She shrugs her shoulders. "Though are you ready to get super wet?"
