Aiko sets up in the Dojo for the later class of this day, annoyed that there is a half day so soon after the start of classes. How were students supposed to get used to the school schedule with short days and festival days so close to the start? Of course, she wasn't consulted on this matter, so all she can do is make the most of the time allotted.

Priya shows up, Katana peace knotted and left at the rack, with a bokken of a fitting size for her in hand "Mirumoto-sensei" she bows to the teacher.

Kobushi enters the dojo, surprised he's early. He's got all the standard training gear ready. He bows to the dojo itself, then to the sensei, before entering. Quietly, he finds a spot where he can either warm up.
He was never as comfortable with a sword as he was with a spear. But he needed to improve and learn, because it was the proper Crane thing to do.
He also gives the Ichiro a nod.

Isao arrived in his dojo wear - a kendogi and hakama - alongside his martial arts back which carried a sleeved, peace-knotted katana and wakizashi. He reverently removed the two and looking for an indication on how to put them away, followed suit and racked his personal blades. Afterwards he padded barefoot towards Priya and Kobushi, smiling. "Good morning," he greeted the two warmly. "How're you doing, Ichiro-san? Daidoji-san?"

Satoru likewise shows up, whether or not this class may be on the advanced end for him. He bows to Mirumoto-san on his way in. He seems pretty exhausted, a little rough around the edges this morning from the all-nighter he pulled. He pays his respects to the dojo and begins preparations while people are arriving.
One loss after another, he needed to take his mind off winning for a change and just focus on getting to the next level.

She bows again as the teacher acknowledges her and a bow and friendly wave to the Daidoji. She is excited. She had been waiting for this, a chance to get better at her most valued skill. She smiles and answers Kakita Isao too "How you doing Kakita-san?" |

"I'm doing pretty good," he said, his mood clearly in good spirits. However, from their several encounters, Priya realized he seemed to always be in good spirits. "I hope your day is equally awesome, Ichiro-san. Ready to get fast so I can get tough?" He grinned at the inside joke. With his grin remaining he greeted his fellow Crane whom he hadn't formally met yet. "Ohayo!" He waved at Daidoji Satoru with an easy smile on his lips.

The sensei is acknowledged properly.
He also returns Priya's wave with a friendly smile.
"Hey, Kakita-san," he answers Isao. "Doing well. You?"

Izumi wasn't sure if she was intermediate or not but after a crummy day yesterday was keen to actually impress in a class. She really hoped this was going to be the one, her confidence really needed the boost. Still she tried to remind herself this was about improving her technique not judging herself and trying to show off.
She strolled in with a confidence and excitement that belied her nerves, bowing to the sensei then her assembled classmates as she entered.
