Roller derby is obviously not her thing which makes it a challenge on its own. Izumi has an easy time both to block Asurito and avoid her when the roles are reversed. Yet the Miya seems to enjoy this new experience. She laughs with her failures and congratulates the Akodo for her successes...

Izumi was having a lot of fun, partly because she was winning but mainly just because she loved trying new sports. She knew in the past she hadn't been a very gracious winner because she was so competitive. it was a thing she was trying to work on. The contest had been close, she had pulled away near the end but it had definitely been close. Izumi much preferred close contests, you learnt more and it was much more satisfying if you won.
"That was fun! Are you intending to join the club?" she asked slightly breathlessly, looking forward to more contests and more time hanging with her new friend. She waited a few seconds getting her breath back and enjoying the exhilaration of high speed before bowing respectfully to the Miya, a very worthy opponent.

Asurito returns the bow and takes a few breaths herself before speaking. "I'm not sure. I mean yes... This thing is amazingly frustrating." The girl smirks. "I don't even know how many times I have fallen. Quite a challenge. But I don't know if I can find the time for a club. Right now soccer, roller derby and students for peace have quite a fight in my head." She jokes and bangs her head lightly. "We'll have to wait until Monday to see who will win."

Hoshiko took her place as a blocker, and she put up a surprising resistance! Still, she was beaten, and managed to come to a halt before hurting herself. The same, sadly, couldn't be said for her attempt at jamming. She moved round quickly, and just...hit a brick wall. Badly, painfully, without skill, and ended up on the floor in agony. "Shit!" Priya skates over as quick as she can and picks the other girl up.
"Hoshi-chan! Are you okay!?"
She looks panicked as she tries to help the girl to her feet.

Hoshiko holds onto Priya's arm tightly as she gets to her feet. "Ow. You're like a brick wall" she laughed a little weakly "I'm ok, honest. Just a little shaken."
