Izumi had a similar problem, she wanted to join every sports club in the school and keep her grades high and have time for friends and keep her job. Her smile dropping for a second at the thought of all the things she should be doing instead of being here. Pushing the thoughts and especially her guilty conscience away she watched the others doing the exercise as she absentmindedly fiddled with the helmet's strap.
"Ethically should students for peace really be involved in that war?" she asked her friend. She was conflicted, knowing she shouldn't tell her friend to do more sports as that would be selfish and irresponsible. However, on the other hand she wanted more time hanging out with a like minded jock.

Priya holds onto Hoshiko for a bit. Maybe a slight breach of etiquette, but for the badger, it was like tending to a fallen ally in battle

Asurito laughs quite loudly at the Akodo's joke. "I deserved that, I suppose."
"Jokes aside, though, I'm in a conflict. There are a lot of things I want to do this year, but my mother insists that if my grades don't go up, I'll be sent straight to college. Then I can kiss my dream for cycling around the Empire a big good bye."

She goes through it in her head Kendo team, Juijutsu team, derby, weightlifting - cycling should fit

You got any of your bounce juice with you?" "Got some in my bag" Hoshiko motioned in the direction of the bag, moving towards it while still holding onto Priya. "Damn Huni Badga, be nice to Black Swan! It's her first time" she giggled, smiling now but rubbing her shoulder still from the fall. |

Izumi smiled, delighted her stupid joke had been so effective. The smile wavered slightly as the Miya's situation rather reminded her of her own. She did appreciate everything her parents had done for her but the pressure on her and her twin was still fairly intense.
"I get it, trust me" she replied sharing a sympathetic smile with her friend.
She jumped slightly at Priya's offer as she hadn't realised the other girl was finished with her exercise before looking hopefully at the Miya to see her reaction. Again, she didn't want the girl to fail but did want to spend more time with her friend.This seemed to her a pretty good compromise.
"Can I get in on that study club?" She asked, figuring it was pretty likely she would need it with her planned athletics output.

Okay, that's much easier. He looks over to the Sparrow and tips his head to him. "I guess it's you and I then," he says, almost as if he were holding his breath at the same time. He had a feeling he'd be trash at this, but he was willing to let Suzume Suzaku call the shots here as he felt more or less like the outcast here.
