Noboru looks up at Rey and starts to give one of those grins that says are you sure you want my answer as he looks up to his childhood friend. But then he remembers she's still a sensei and, at least in class, he needed to show her more respect than he did Aiko earlier. That's when the student, only a year younger than his teacher, lets out a sigh and starts packing up the guitar.
"Because if I'm going to live the life of a hermit after I graduate, I need to be able to treat myself," came a rather depressing answer.

She listens to Noboru's music again, but she says nothing as Momiko, this little paragon of sweetness approaches. "I will not!" She whispers back in a playfully conspiratory way. "Tell her that I send hugs and kisses. I might be close to something new, but I'm not sure yet. I will call her once I have more to say. Until then I will just press like to her photos on facescroll." She winks. It is obvious that she is joking, of course. "How have you been doing, sweetie?" She asks her before raising her tone so that Hinata can also hear her. "Keep on with the good work. Kuni chan and you were great yesterday." She knew her mother would enjoy that response. For a multitude of reasons; Rey-dono being close to something new would certainly intrigue the woman of course, but the hugs and kisses too. Mother was in no way shy about saying how attractive she found the Mirumoto woman. Still, Momiko was just the delivery service and she bowed once more as Rey went off to confront her Mirumoto cousin in the back of the room. Sighing under her breath, she sat down next to Hinata. |

Hinata looked at Momiko as she sat down, noting the sigh. Would it be rude to ask her about it? ...well, the worst that could happen is Momiko would say she did not want to talk about it. If she could get her to open up more, that meant a new ally. Worth the risk, Hinata decided.
"Is everything alright, Asahina-san?"

It was a moment before Momiko answered, getting out her notebook. "Hai; It's nothing. Mirumoto-sensei is a good friend of my mother's... well, something like that anyways. They are both somewhat... odd individuals" she said softly, definitely not wanting this to be heard by anyone else. "I just find it not the easiest to deal with."
She did not want to go into details, but it was good to get off her chest.

Hinata smiled gently.
"Odd parents. I can certainly sympathize with that. Perhaps not in the exact same way, but...well...let's just say they are proper Kuni."

Self-sufficiency is something to be considered of great use for a Dragon samurai, so Sakura makes her way into the first aid class and finds a nice quiet corner to set up in. Having overheard Hinata and Momiko talking about potentially working in groups, Yoshi leaves his chosen desk and conspicuously approaches Sakura, bowing in greeting. "Hello again, Mirumoto-san," he says quietly. "It's... nice to have so many classes with a clan mate." His eyes flit to Noboru briefly, but then return to the young woman in front of him. "In case we have to... work together in some way during today's lesson, I would be honored to do so with you," he softly adds without further preamble. He belatedly realizes that this was perhaps a bit forward, especially if she hadn't overheard the same conversation. However, he has no idea how to rectify matters, so he just stiffly bows again and heads back to his own seat. "...sometimes I swear there's a bit of Kuni blood in my family, frankly. With the gushing about sutures and genetics and such. ...no offense I hope." On his way, he tries to catch Momiko's eye, just enough for a smile and small bow but not to interrupt her conversation with the Kuni. |

"because my Father and brother often get hurt in the kitchen, someone has to patch them up right?" she said jokingly. "besides it is a very useful skill to have." she said with a bright smile.
