"Not entirely by choise. Tsuma is very good for dueling, and I had hoes of leading the team this year." she smiles wickedly "Though it might be fun to lead the team that beats them. It was thought though, that there was a sensei here that could help me with some things, and train me in some of the skills I will need if I am to become a magistrate"

Ichiro nods approvingly "it's always nice to meet a woman who can handle a sword. Dueling has never been my strong suit but I've practiced it a bit. I specialize in judo and kendo though." He looks impressively at the girl and gives her a cheeky grin "Well I hope you don't arrest me magistrate-san."

Ichiro had went to take a drink of his water when he heard Uetani and the shock of her words caused him to shoot a bit of water out of his nose and choke slightly. After coughing a bit to clear his throat his face red from embarrassment. "Pretty girls like you shouldn't speak like that Uetani-san, it might give guys the wrong idea." He recovered quickly and his skin soon returned to it's natural shade.

Ichiro gives the Kakita a wicked smile "I've found that good boys are rarely any.....fun?" Ichiro nibbles on a bit more sushi "you have a wonderful voice Uetani-san, its quite soothing."

Ichiro returns the smile and nods "maybe he wasn't wrong about everything, he did always tell me to find a good girl at the temple." He pauses, his eyes meet Uetani's "are you a good girl Uetani-san?"
