Yoruga used public trasportation to get to Ucchan's Okinomiyaki. It was a small place that didn't gather lots of people. He went inside and was happy that he could find a table with his back on the wall that allowed observation of the door and easy access to the window. He had no idea why his grandfather felt that these kind of things were important. Still as long as it kept him happy, he would take it. He hated the headaches he often caused him. As soon as he sat he opened his bag and pulled out a book. Since Hime-chan wanted him to work on her baby he had to get into Engineering. he opened the book and started reading while he waited for Mirumoto Rey. |

It doesn't take long for the Dragon to arrive. Since Yoruga was focused on his book, it wasn't difficult to be succumbed to a sneaky hug attack. "Nahnahnahnahnaha!" And other various sounds are heard while the Mirumoto ruffles the young man's hair. It takes quite a few seconds for her to stop. "Yoruga! Silly face!" She exclaims and takes her seat across him. "You've grown so much!"

He wasn't able to ever stop her from doing that since they met back at Isawa Shugenja School. He wouldn't stop her now. He persevered her hug attack and her ruffling of his hair. Ok e might enjoyed the tokens of affection, but he wouldn't say that loud even if the alternative was getting flogged. He gulped and tried to not look at her boobs. He knew they were there.But she was Rey. Probably the person who has been nicest to him his whole life. He gulped.
"I would have said you too, but I think that is offensive when said to a lady, even one as young as you."
He faked a smile.

"Nonsense!" She says. "I don't mind growing up. It would help a lot." She raises her index. "Wait, wait..." Rey reaches into her purse and takes a pair of glasses out. She wears them and looks back at the boy. "How do I look now? All grown up and serious, no?" She does look about 3 or 4 months older. "The cute guy at the optics store convinced me that those glasses will change my life!"

"Does it even matter to you that much? You are the most accomplished surgeon of your generation and probably the best in Rokugan for ages. People should respect that and get over it."

"Oh?!" A handcuff alert makes her get the glasses off immediately, but she comments nothing, of course.
"Accomplishments don't change my frustration everytime I try to convince my patients to stay on the stretcher and not run away." She explains. "You will see for yourself one day. Age does count. How do your studies go? Any recent achievement for which you sent me no link?"

"I have already told you that some sedatives that paralyse your patient's legs will fix your frustration issues. Yet you never listen to me." He grimed.

She is not really interested, but she can easily put up with his geeky stuff. "You know that you can talk to me about anything you are interested in."
Then she cracks a smile. "Your methods might be slightly close to abuse. A tiny bit." She teases him.

He smiled, this time it came easier.
"Well there is no law forbidding that. After all doctors are responsible for the treatment of their patients and honestly the sheeple don't know what's best for them."

"It's hardly like that." She protests. "Yes, the law might allow some controversial use of medical products, supplements and drugs, but that doesn't mean that a doctor should fall for such a behaviour. Bedside manners are equally important as the medical procedure itself. There needs to be trust build the patient and the physician. Otherwise people will be hesitant to ask for treatment and get regular tests. It is my duty to prevent that from happening."
