For some reason her last words made him picture her in handcuffs but tried to banish that image from his mind.

What he is asking is not easy. Rey tries hard to keep the laughter from bursting and she does just fine until she just can't hold it.
A good time later, she stops and looks at him. "Someone had a very good time, it seems. Running ahead is not bad per se, but I would really advise you to try to live the moment. What you are thinking can wait a few years. You both have college in front of you, after all."
